Worst USPS ever!!! The passport clerk -- the black woman with long hair there is super rude and unhelpful. Horrible horrible horrible. People, trust me, dont go to this place ever. The black woman managed to make us go there 3 times for a passport application for my new born, and still didnt do the application for us. The first time, she told us the photo we provide is not good. Okay ... we make another appointment and came back one week later with a good photo. The second time, she told us our birth certificate is not right. (okay ... but why not checking our paper work the first time, and telling us the problem all at once.) She just wanted to kick us out, but didnt tell us how to get the right birth certificate. There was another lady in the office explaining to us how to get the birth certificate, she yelled to her and asked her to stop talking ... Anyway, we quickly got our birth certificate, and came back to the office in less than an hour to stand by to hopefully get our application done. The black woman let us wait for 20 minutes and told us she was not going to do the application for us since we didnt make the appointment with her for this visit... (although she was idle and didnt have any other appointment at that time.) If she really needed an appointment, why not telling us earlier? She intentionally let us wait there. We really needed to have the application done. So we tried to make an appointment with her at an earliest slot. Then she told us to come back in two weeks. WTF!!! She just checked her schedule, she was idle right there, and she didnt have any appointment in the next two hours. This was already our 3rd visit to the office, and she could get our application done in 5 minutes, but she just wouldnt do it. She chose to stay idle, but wanted us to wait for another two weeks! I finally understood her, -- she just wanted to enjoy her "power" to manipulate people and waste people time as much as possible. There was definitely something with her mind. It is such a shame to have people like her working at USPS and wasting tax payers money. We walked away from this place, and stood by at the Millbrae USPS office. And we get our application done within half an hour.

I would have to agree customer service is horrible here. I had a package sent general delivery, the p.o. that sent it said it would be there on Saturday. I arrived after 1pm & Burlingame p.o. closed so had to wait until Monday. I went in, presented my I.d. and asked the window clerk if she would check for my package. She asked if I had filed an "application" for general delivery. I replied I dont know what that meant. She produced a form and explained she could not possibly look for my package without a number and the "application". Thinking the number she needed was on the receipt that was emailed to me, I asked "what if I have a number"?. She replied "then you can go online and find where your package is". Incredibly frustrated I left & tried to figure out what to do to get my mail. I entered a number on the receipt and the status of the package was in Burlingame ready for pick up. I filled out the "application" and returned to the p.o.. Another clerk this time scrutinized the application, asking me one question after another. Fearing there was something wrong with the paperwork, I was at this point pleading with her to get my package. Eventually she went back and got my mail using only my name, no number, something the first uncooperative clerk said was impossible to do. Where does the USPS find these people? Is not the mission of the p.o. to deliver mail to people? Why make it so difficult? I was in the same post office with my mail and still could not run the gauntlet to get it on the first try. It was like trying to get soup from the soup Nazi.

I normally dont have any issue here, but Im usually just paying postage on packages...nothing complicated. However, this last visit finally showed me what everyone else, here, was complaining about. I had put a mail hold for a few days and opted to pick up my accumulated mail at the post office. Several days after the hold ended, i go 15 minutes after they open to try and pick up the mail, assuming that itd be there ready since it had been a few days after the hold ended. When I show up, no ones at the desk. Another customer sitting there tells me i need to come back in 10 minutes. Luckily, a clerk shows up immediately after, but before i can even ask about the mail, she tells me to use the machine. I tell her that im just there to pick up mail and she just says that the truck isnt unloaded yet and walks off. When she comes back i tell her that its a mail hold and the mail should already be there, but she just repeats that the truck isnt unloaded and to come back in 10 minutes. Repeating that its not new mail i was looking to pick up returned the same response. Not having any more time left to argue, I just left. Hopefully its a new clerk tomorrow.

I think a negative star would better represent my experience here. They messed up with my holding mail half a year ago, and messed up my package delivery this time. Dont know how many times they can do things wrong. The staff was quite rude, unprofessional, and know nothing. Both times when I came to pick up my holding mail, or holding package, they couldnt find it, although the pick up location was clearly stated in the notice. They just gave me a number to call which I called in front of them, but it was just ringing without any response. They refused to help me contact other post office or whatever facility they mentioned the package could be. I cannot believe there was absolutely no tracking of the package in their office. Absolutely no customer service, such a waste of time for me. My advice is dont go there, phone call would be a better way. If phone call cannot solve your issue, going there would be an additional waste of your time. Avoid this location as much as you can.

this 2ns time in 3 weeks that they claim they delivered a package to me(Burlingame) when I live in Millbrae. I got 1st package (that had been opened) with a xerox telling me that the P>O> had been broken into?????I finally got it a week later. Now I am having the same problem with this 2nd package. Every time a package starts out from UPS and turns it over to USPS, things get screwed up. Never had this problem when every thing was handled by the Millbrae office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude and unhelpful.I would give no star if I could. My package is delayed for more than 5 days,so I think they may help me check about that, but according to the pocker-faced black woman there, thats none of their business, all she can do is just sending me to the machine to track my package,if that is what I want, why I come to your office???? I wont use USPS any more.

Unhelpful. The skinny asian lady with the long hair did not even take the time to help me track my package. She sent me to the machine to try and figure it out, this was something I could have done on my phone. My package was lost and they had no Idea how to help me. Why is this company still around? Terrible service.
