Surprised to read so many bad reviews. I have a place in a big CA town also and the service there is 10 times worse than in Sonoma. I just called the Sonoma number and got someone right away. When Ive stopped into the PO they seem helpful and friendly. Parking isnt great but its easy to park a short distance down the block and walk.

This is the worst post office in the US, for lost packages,mail not delivered because my mail box is 14 feet away from the others in the court I live in,the mail man will not deliver any more packages after I called about missing mail. Over all,this post office is a place for workers to hide,scale of 1-10. I give it a -10.

My daughter decoded she wanted to write the president a letter and the staff here was very friendly and helpful. Its nice interacting with people that know how to talk to kids.
