I really want to love this place. A quaint post office with little quirks. Whats not to love? Welllll... Your cute quaintness is blown apart by the disappointing service. Would give 0 stars if possible. I went in to send two parcels internationally and purposefully didnt bring them in boxes so that I could be advised by your "knowledgeable staff" on what box made the most financial sense/was best for international shipping. I also needed help with the customs forms. DESPITE the fact that there was little to no traffic at the time of my visit the workers there were absolutely awful at assisting me. They didnt know the best way to fill out the customs forms (arent you supposed to be experts?) so that my goods (baby gifts) would not be stopped and that their recipients would not have to pay a duty. They didnt tell me that the next size box would cost not $18.75 flat rat, but $87.75 flat rate- even though I asked and was clear about the end destination being Europe. Insult to injury, despite my queries and trying to find the best solution for my shipping needs, the workers told me I filled out the forms wrong, addressed the parcels incorrectly and also would be paying almost 5 times as much to get my package across the sea. I was asking you for your help so I wouldnt have these issues and instead of actually giving me any solutions- you insulted the fact that I couldnt come up with them myself because I dont understand the postal system as well as you? YOU ARE THE POSTAL WORKER. I came in to defer to your expertise. I asked you questions and was left feeling insulted and frustrated, not informed and happy to ship a parcel. It was supposed to be an easy trip with a joyful outcome (friends abroad getting gifts) but now, more than a week later Im still a little POSTAL about this experience and will be shopping AMAZON forevermore. So disappointed.

I live on a dead end in an apartmet at the end, one side is one address the other side in a different address, I get mail for the other address allmost every day, Where my mail is going ? I dont know ! I called and complained, and the very next day i had someone elses mail, I go to the mail box today and ....thats right, i have someones mail not mine, 3 times this week i get someones mail, its not mine, Who is going to be resposable if get my personal info used by someone? Who is getting my mail? I think we have the right to have our postal workers be responsable to SOMEONE for delivering the mail correctly !! come on !!!!!

Called this morning the published phone number, no answer for 5 or more rings [I lost count] and then I got this piercing tone from my phone. Unfortunately this has happened in previous years. I also have had problems with mail forwarding, especially with medications. This has been going on for several years. The supervisors are friendly enough, but the problem continues. Unfortunately it is the only "game in town" with no alternative available.

My diamond ring accidentally slipped off my hand when I mailed a letter. Even though I was at the blue box before the time the next day, and I drove to the Milwaukie Post Office, the USPS was NEVER able to get it back to me. What lousy service and incompetent people some of them are. And this was in October so we all know zip codes are not complicated.

Claimed my package I got on eBay was the wrong address and sent my package back to China, and right before Christmas! Now I will not have my gifts in time. They are supposed to take photos of the package and for some reason mine wasnt photographed??? When you call theres no answer and it it just beeps! TERRIBLE!!!

This place handles a lot of packages when I was told how many packages it blew my mind so I am never going to give the United States Post Office crap again ever and I feel like all you guys writing bad reviews should try doing the same. And Lynn is a sweetheart thank you Lynn.

Rather talk to ROBOTS... This unit ONLINE SHIPPER HOSTILE. Manager is scrutinizing flat rate boxes. The lame post office would be out of business without the online retail economy. If I ship UPS you lose $40K a year TURDS!
