I spent a week trying to call this post office location after my package had been lost in postal grey matter. Not only does the phone number only ever give the busy signal, but its not even busy! I called at 10.00 pm one night just to see and I still got a busy signal! Then I called around for other post offices and most of the few who answered the phone acted as though they had no idea what I was talking about and that I would just have to continue calling insuring me they only have that same number to reach the Park Rose office as well. They insisted that my best bet was to go into the office location. I told her I had very limited time and absolutely no transportation that would take less than 1.5 hours to get there and I just needed someone to provide me with genuine customer service so I could know where my parcel was. Goodness forbid it actually be delivered rather than me needing to go into the office. Nope, "youll just have to go in if the phone doesnt work." One nice person gave me a phone number and said to keep it on the down low and that I didnt get it from them if anyone asked. This number also rang busy for several days but finally, once I placed an early morning call (which is the opposite of my working/sleeping schedule) I did get through on this mystery back office number where I was told that the Office would return my call once they found my package. 3 hours later i was impatient (duh) and called again where someone told me that, in fact, my package had been returned to sender because of an incorrect address which the original company had improperly labeled. To shorten the end half of this story I think it is outrageous how completely unavailable and uninterested in assisting patrons this US Post Office seemed. Although the holidays are a tough and somewhat overwhelming time for postal workers, there is no excuse for completely shutting down all access to an office with already limited business hours. I wasnt calling to bite off heads, I just wanted to know where my package was. It was the unavailability to any proper information which made me want to bite heads off. I want to bake the workers of this Post Office cookies so they can have something brighten up their days just enough to get the sticks dislodged from all of their a**es.

If i could give less than ine star I would. This post office is a disgrace to the initial ideal of the postal service. I cant believe how disrespectful and disgruntled these mailmen and women are. I have had multiple issues with this office for different reasons. It seems that when you try addressing any concern you might be having with any service with the management here, the issue is not addressed but the vindictiveness increases. Leads me to believe our concerns as usps customers are simply being laughed at behind office doors. I have had packages lost, delivered to other houses and even stuffed inside my mailbox resulting in broken merchandise, rather than walk down my driveway and place it at my door as requested. All of which the usps refuses to aknowledge or replace. If neighbors place thier recycle bins next to my mail box (not anywhere in front or blocking) the mail carrier refuses to deliver mail, and insted leaves a slip that says access to mailbox/door was obscured and mail could not be delivered. What is wrong with this office?! Doesnt the companys upper management realize the complaints are only growing, and ironically they are nearly all the same nature? Not all post offices are this bad, I wish I had never moved into this neighborhood. At least at my other residence I could get my mail within a reasonable timeframe.

Unreal. I received a note saying I had a package there, and because this location has so many complaints, I called to make sure it was really there. They said it was and that I had until 6 PM to pick it up. That was at 5:10. I arrived at 5:20 to find them closed, but several employees were still walking around inside. I called again and could hear their phone ringing. They each looked at me numerous times through the glass door while it rang, but they didnt pick up, come to talk to me, or even gesture in any way. They knew I was the one calling. They knew I could hear the phone ringing and see them ignoring me. They even knew I was the same person they had JUST TOLD could come pick up her package, because I was holding up the ticket wed just discussed and they clearly noticed and were talking about it. At the very least, an employee should have picked up the phone or come out to apologize for giving me false information. Instead, they ignored the phone for five minutes, then picked it up AND HUNG UP AGAIN without saying a word. Inappropriate and awful in so many ways.

I moved recently within the same zip code, so this post office is the main branch. I put in my change of address very early, to take effect the day that we got the keys to the new residence. I did not see any mail for a week, and was still getting the previous owners mail. I called the post office and spoke with a supervisor who was very polite and helpful. Shortly after the call, all the sudden, my mail started showing up! I relaxed thinking everything was fine. (Besides the carrier doing smart ass things like circling "or current resident" on mail addressed to the previous owners and then placing it in our box that is). Today I was alerted that some very important documentation was returned to its place of origin. The change of address was effective 9/7, the date stamp on the envelope was 9/17! Why is mail not being delivered? Or returned even!? I am hoping I dont upset the carrier with my concerns with the mail, but obviously my concerns are valid. Dont take it for granted that your change of address with go through, or even be paid any attention to. Follow Up!

Lost my package and lied about where it was--multiple times! At the end, they blamed my neighbor, accusing them of stealing my mail. Neighbor and I have a good relationship, neighbor would not commit a felony for a package worth less than $50. Everyone I talked to was polite to my face but I could tell that they werent being honest and just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible--stories did NOT add up. Additionally, they keep their phone line disconnected, close early, and have very long lines, making it difficult for people who work full time to investigate missing parcels. I think they make this difficult on purpose so that people give up. This is not the first time Ive had trouble with them, either. If you must have a package go through them, be absolutely certain to get it insured, because they WILL destroy or lose it. Somebody needs to clean this place up.

I called the Park Rose Station office for some help concerning a piece of mail that was not delivered. The person who answered was not able to answer my question and was very rude. He hung up on me! This isnt the first incidence of incompetence or unprofessional ism from this location. I have been dealing with miss mailed items, undelivered items, and our mailboxes have been left unlocked on at least 3 different occasions since I have been living here. The response I get from the people that work at the USPS at Park Rose Station has always been like I am bothering them. Thank-you for letting me rant. I know if I actually complained in person or let them know who I am, our mail would get a lot worse. So if you guys see this and you work there "Sorry" but its the truth, please do not penalize us for our observance of your behavior. Use it to make it better. :)
