fui con mi carro a las 9am para inspeccion de un aire acondicionado, a las 11:25 del dia me dicen que el compressor esta malo y que cuesta alrededor de 2500 dolares. luego le pido la llaves del carro y cuando lo voy a prender el carro no prende, yo me queje y me dijeron que el carro se apagaba porque necesitaba el compresor, el carro tengo anos usandolo y nunca se habia apagado. yo me enoje mucho porque m i carro no tenia problemas cuando lo traje, alrededor de casi las 12:50 de la tarde, abro el bonette del carro y unas mangeras kitadas del motor y el anillo que sujetaban la mangera principal no estaba, luego las puse y el carro prendio, ellos se lokitaron pero ellos dicen que yo lo traje asi. si lo hubiera trahido asi en el camino se me hubiera pagado el carro y no fue asi el carro llego en perfectas condiciones.. en la misma manana habia mirado el motor y tenia la pieza que le kitaron. estuve con mi mujer embarazada de 6 meses y un nino de 4 anios sin comer nada todas essas horas y sin necesidad. yo jamas en mi vida vuelvo a ir a un pep boys

I went to pep boys on washington and hoover for some shocks replacement be aware read carefully. ...rep started to quoting for all four shock s on a ford econoline van wen dude said 550 for all four. ..bro i told go ahead and do the job... i also ask if the shocks were goin to be heavy duty. .his reply was there is an extra charge for heavy duty i ask hoe much more... he looked in to his system with a quik response said 200 more i told dude. .just hand me back my keys i do the shtttttt my self. ..turns out i went inside store to find out prices on shocks. .a very profesional worker behind counter by the name or enrique or gilbert one of them offered me some heavy duty shocks for the van. .broo ..best shocks ever bought in my entire life the rear shock cost me 120 $ with extra coil spring on both of them front shocks 40 $ a piece with. 20 $ off discount on rewards total out the door 180$ now i just needed to install. .as am leavin store i notice mobile mechanics in front of store. ..for a flat fee of 100 bucks mr vega @ shop 3 lol jajaa. ..took care of it on the spot... less than an hr. ...huge props for shop 3. ...way to go big boys. ..

I had made an appointment on Thursday a sameday appointment 5:00 pm on the Internet & had put down on the service comment I had purchase lowering springs and I would to get it installed. I received a confirmation number at this location when I got there the person who had helped me she had said they were short handed and that it will take a few hours to do the labor. Which I understand so I had reschedule for Friday at the sametime @ 5:00 pm. Its Friday I got there for my appointment at 5:00 the young gentleman that helped me I told him i was there for my 5 oclock appointment he had check the system and had mention my name and ask me what service I wanted to do for my vehicle and I told him I had purchase lowering springs and I would to get it installed and the gentleman had told me hold on for a second and he had walked to the mechanic area and came back that they wont have time to do it today and that they were busy. Which I didnt understand whats the purpose of making the appointment and the gentlemen had told me I should of schedule at earlier time. I would never go here to purchase or do service for my car.

The reason that one star is clicked is because I couldnt leave a review without it. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! The customer service is so bad. I came in a couple of days ago to get an oil change. My appointment was booked for 8am, I arrive a few mins early. I stand at the counter (for about 10 mins might I add) without anyone even acknowledging me. When the man finally came back to the counter and finished with the lady that walked in with him he proceeded to help someone else. I kindly asked him can he check me in for my appointment and he told me to be patient! To be patient! I WAS IN LINE FOR MORE THAN TEN MINS! YOU HELP WHOEVER IS IN LINE NEXT! YOU DO NOT PICK AND CHOOSE WHO IS NEXT! I told him I had an 8 oclock appointment and that he needed to check me in. He gives me paper to fill out and says I have a couple cars in front of you so its going to be a couple hours. That is ridiculous. I took my business elsewhere. You guys need to do better. Someone should report you guys to the BBB. There is absolutely too many complaints about customer service. RIDICULOUS!

Two days ago I went to get a simple AC recharge. Because I have an older model car, my AC was to be retrofitted. After spending four hours at the shop (10am-2pm) all my car had done was an AC "inspection" which I was charged $40 for. The mechanic then informed my that they did not have the part needed to recharge the AC. They told me they would order it and have it by tomorrow. I arrived the next day and was then informed that their supplier, did not have the part. And was asked if i wanted to come the next day... Nothing was done to my car, and I was charged $40 for an "inspection" HORRIBLE Also, what made me write this review is that, this is not the first time something like this has happened here. A few months ago, I came in for an Alternator, they did not have the part and had to order it for the next day... (I needed a new Alternator ASAP, so i went to a local place where I was charged much less, and had the job done in a few hours.) This will be the last time i go to Pep Boys for any work on my vehicle.

Never again! I gave them 3 chances, how dumb could I be to think they would change like an ex boyfriend I guess haha but yes dont go there please! 1st time it took more than 2 hours to get an oil change. 2nd time I asked for oil change and they forgot to put the cap on oil spilled everywhere all over my car. I had to buy a new cap. 3rd time I had them give me an oil change supposedly but no when I went to get my car checked at anothers pep boys they didnt change the oil. I gave up on them and now go somewhere else. The people there are really nice besides the lady that works there. Every time she was there something bad happened to my car. All the guys there are really nice but I feel like the place is short staffed and they should really hire more workers to lighten the load. Im hoping everything works out for them and that they start doing services correctly.

Kinda disappointed with my last 2 visits. Second time, i went to get my light bulb replaced on my headlights. I was told by a young Hispanic kid who worked there that all i gotta do is buy the bulbs from the inside of the store, and they would install it free of charge. So i buy the bulbs, and they install. I get handed my keys and while i hop in my car, the kid says "that will be twenty dollars sir." I looked at him and said "thought you said the workwas free as long as I buy the bulbs from your store ?" And he says "dont worry about it!" And just walked away ! Third time. I went for an oil change with an appointment. When i was seen by the shop mgr. I also requested new windshield wipers. He said he would take care of me. It took over an hour for them to finish the oil change, and they forgot to replace my windshield wipers. Thank God i wasnt charged
