Come on now, lets review the facts. Goldrush is in the travel business and also sells memberships, which allow people to become independent travel agents, working from home and part time. Goldrush is no different than hundreds of other "host agencies" across the country, which promote, sell and solicit members. Theres no such thing as a free lunch, but there is opportunity to succeed and thats what Goldrush does. Many people join because they want to capitalize on potential travel benefits; others join, to establish a part time job. Like most business ventures, everyone has to assess for themselves, whether or not the investment is worth the potential returns. In this case, returns must be earned; i.e. selling travel results in commissions. For "Pastor Scott" to express his opinion is certainly his right; however, to allude to and/or purport to know how the membership works, when he isnt even a member or ever was one, is self-discrediting. I have been a member for many years and have not regretted the investment. Yes, it was a good chunk of change and I took many days, before I signed on. During my time, I have booked many cruises, do an annual group cruise and have booked New York City and other travel related business. And over the years, I have learned a lot - because I wanted to better my knowledge of the business. The more I know, the more my business can grow. Individuals memberships can be a one-time venture or a continuing relationship. Its obvious who is eager to learn and prosper; its evident when you see the same faces at a myriad of free training classes. Its entirely up to the person, as to what level of travel proficiency they care to achieve. I appreciate the staffs continuous training and assistance, whenever I need their help. And I find it quite professional and meaningful, when I can interact with them, on a name basis. The staff are all willing to lend a hand, take my calls, talk with me (when I am there) and to participate in my success. Frankly, it doesnt matter to me what "Pastor Scott" thinks or says; but I think his comments are reckless and ill founded. Again, he has a right to his opinion, but not to distort the facts. No one is "lured" in, without their open-mindedness, that maybe, perhaps, this might be something they might be interested in. Businesses across our land and economic spectrum use all forms of marketing, to get customers interested in their product or service; thats know as the free-market place. No one is "forced" to patronize any business, either by purchase or prospecting. And how does "Pastor Scott" rationalize the car dealer who advertises "free ski pass" for test driving one of their new cars? How does he rationalize the restaurant who offers a monetary discount on a meal, so long as the meal costs a certain minimum? Again, the staff at Goldrush Getaways and its president, Brian Carr, have always been accessible and helpful to me. The amount of return on my investment is a direct reflection on my involvement and activity.

Mandi gave a presentation on a weekday when we went and it was really thorough, but fast paced. The main problem I have with it is you get so much information and no time to process it or check it out. For a $6000-$9000 investment I need to confirm all the promises, as best I can. You cant do that there, obviously, because they need you to sign that day. It seems like a good investment, IF you are planning on traveling a lot over the next 5-10 years. (Like at least one cruise a year and taking advantage of the condo rentals) Then if all the figures are accurate, it would pay for itself and you will save money. We didnt buy in this time because we have a new RV and already have two trips planned for fall and next Jan/Feb but are going to take advantage of the Alaskan Cruise July of 2017, upgrading to a balcony. It will save us about $1500 or more by using the certificate which includes airfare.

We have been a member for over 6 years and the only negative thing I can say is I wish we had joined sooner. We are retired and have been on over 20 DISCOUNTED cruises, even some free ones. We would not have been able to do this without Goldrush. We also have gotten great discounts on hotels, condos, car rentals, and numerous attractions. The price we paid has been recouped by all the discounts. We have always found the employees in the office helpful, courteous and professional. We recommend this company to everyone we meet and have at least two couples join Goldrush because of us and they have no complaints either. Brian Carr the president of Goldrush, is easily accessable and what other company is that possible? Thank you Goldrush for all the great travels we have had. Linda & Bruce...........

My wife and I have done business with GoldRush Getaways since 2004 and will continue to do so. The sales presentation we received at the outset was thoroughly informative re business operations and potentials benefits, which, like Pastor Scott, also allowed us in that 3 day rescission period to consider the pros and cons of membership. For us it was a no-brainer. To illustrate, presently we’re engaged in an on-line instructional academy with Princess Cruise Lines which will pay huge dividends in future travel adventures for ourselves, family, friends and business associates, a number of which are also GRGs members. We recognize there exists at any given time various levels of dissatisfaction with all businesses oriented to service. To date our experience with GRGs has been far and away positive.

I have an appointment to listen to their pitch this Sunday to see what they are all about. They promised me a 4 night cruise with ALL taxes and fees paid (no money out of pocket) AND 3 night stay in one of multiple places (but I will have to pay the taxes on that one in addition a $100.00 gift card for a restaurant. Not sure which restaurant. At this point I am giving it 3 stars until after my appointment on Sunday. I asked very specifically if I had to pay anything for the cruise and they said no just that we cannot book on a holiday weekend and we have a year to use it as well as a year for the 3 days stay at one of the places on their list. I will get back to you after our appointment to let you all know if they are true to their word.

My experience at Goldrush Getaways was a positive one. When you arrive they welcome you and will ask you to fill out a quick form and provide proof of a credit card (they just check that the name matches your ID, they dont even touch your card) and then a travel host takes you into the presentation which is less than an hour long. I thought it would be like a timeshare or a scam, but it isnt. They are simply a travel agency doing something new to survive in todays world of online booking. Their program is fascinating. If you like to travel or have a desire to travel at all in the future, the program is PERFECT for you. I highly recommend it if you are looking for an affordable way to travel. The price is reasonable and the benefits are many :)

My wife and I have been members for six years and continue to enjoy the travel deals we have found thru Goldrush Getaways. WE have also booked family and friends which provide us with a part-time income. THe ongoing training programs and in-house vendor seminars have provided us with lots of very useful information. We have also been very pleased with the helpful staff that is employed at Goldrush. For this "Pastor Scott", maybe if you had stayed with the program longer than 3 days, he might also have learned to enjoy the many benefits of a Goldrush Getaways membership
