Ever since the earthquake in 2015, I go to Nepal with a group once or twice a year to follow up on village house rebuilding projects that are supported by donations through a fundraising group registered in the USA. We only stay 7 days so there can be no delays visiting sites. Logistics need to be carefully arranged. Domestic air fares, private cars, guides/interpreters, food/lodging needs to be lined up to keep on schedule. At first we contracted another agency to make arrangements for our group but there were difficulties with logistics. In 2016, Based on the recommendation of a friend we approached Himalayan Dreams to take charge of making arrangements for field trips and hotel accommodations. One thing I like about this company, theyre big in Nepal, you can customize your trip, from individual to a large group and you can customize what you want to see as well. Land of incomprehensible beauty. Temples that make you welcome. People who welcome you. Beautiful, spiritual, nourishing and, of course, educational for your heart and spirit. I didnt climb Everest, but it touched my heart.
