I called 5 places on quotes for a 90K tune up and to have the plug wires done on my 2001 Mitsubishi. Midas on Monument in Concord CA was my 5th call. They gave me the best price by far of all 5 places. When speaking with the staff, they verbally told me they appreciated my business. VERY HARD to find these days. Excellent work, even better customer service. I was treated and felt like a valued customer, which is so important in these times. AAMCO tried to rip me off and tell me I needed parts that arent even required for my car, and Mitsubishi told me I needed 11 things done (nope!). I am now taking my car to Midas on Monument as my primary source for oil changes & tune ups, maintenance and repairs. Great prices already, there is an added bonus as there are always coupons on the Midas website that you can use on top of the fair prices you are quoted. I am telling all my friends to take their cars to Midas on Monument. They want your business, and dont scam you. As a woman dealing with pricing on car maintenance and repair, I appreciate the staff they have at Midas on Monument in Concord, CA as they are true to their word on competitive pricing and did not feel they treated me any different then they would have treated my father or brother. THANK YOU MIDAS ON MONUMENT!!!!!

Midas is already in trouble for their bait and switch practice. I took my Toyota for a brake job. The tech. told me that this is the worst brake job he has ever seen (the last one was done by Midas in SF). When I informed him about the last work, he said - the place you took last time are crooks - I am honest !!! The brakes were so bad that if I pulled tthe auto out of the shop and an accident happens, they are not responsible. The estimate was for $ 343 for one axle. I asked him to put the wheels on and took the auto to Toyota dealership. Well, they looked and found nothing wrong. I paid nothing as they did not do any work. I have informed the State Attorney General about this. He is already after Midas after a sting operation. I hope he can close all these shops down, and save the public from this kind of people.

One of the worst services that have gotten in a long time the guy took forever when there was no one here, I was told the fluids in my car were refilled which turned out to be a complete lie not to mention the guy got all upset just because I asked once how much longer its going to take and then when he hands me my car keys he informes me there is a nail in the tire but since I asked him how much longer they no longer have time to fix it since they had to bring the car out I asked the guy one question once wow like I said rude customer service extremely long wait and just bad in general.

I have been here twice for repairs now and absolutely LOVE the great customer service! Fadi, the owner, explains everything so you understand the problem and the solutions to fix your car. Plus, the prices are reasonable. As a woman, I am tired of all the repair shops that try to sell you repairs you dont need. This is not the story here. They have the customers best interest at heart. Midas in Concord has become my shop of choice for oil changes and repairs. BTW...they do so much more than just mufflers. I recommend you give them a try. Linda B.

Dont take you car there. I had to take mar car there to fix it. They told me its $500 to fix it.next day i got a call they said its gonna cost more because there are more part to order so they said its $654 and the car will be ready by noon , and now I got another call they said there is another part to order again and the car will be done by the end of the day. These guys dont know their job. Go somewhere else.

I have been coming to these guys on Monument for years and weve always had good service. My fiance and I bring both our cars here and the guys have always been helpful, kind and very courteous. In the years of getting tires, brakes and oil changes, we dont feel like weve ever been taken advantage of......and were NOT stupid people! So far, so good in our eyes. Keep up the good work gents!!! =)

I took my 1999 VW Beetle gave me an oil change about a month later i checked to see my engine oil and there wanst even a lick of oil in the engine. I would never trust this midas on monument for sure. I didnt even see them put oil in the car in the first place. The car doesnt burn or leak oil.

They always recommend extra work for my cars but not the other independent mechanics I visit after. They do change oil but I would not do anything more than that in a Midas. Keep it only for essential service and maintenance. 3 stars may be too much though...

Liked the service alot they took the time to explain things that were wrong and how I could make them right I did not have the money necessary for the issues that I needed fixed at that time but will of course look into Midas again in the future when I do.
