I refuse to give these people a STAR but it wont let publish it without a star. First of all the one of the Filipino ladies with the long hair at the front counter is very pleasant. She is always very helpful and personable. Last week Wednesday I sent 2 boxes for my son and paid for priority mailing to be delivered by Friday. Since he only received one box I went online to track the package and it showed that the package left Emeryville, went to Oakland, then San Jose then Oakland again and on the 22nd it showed it was in Emerville and it was being sent out from Emeryville on the same day. On Tuesday this week I went to the Post office and spoke with Veronica who informed me that she looked up the tracking# and the package was in Oakland.....and took my number and said that the supervisor promised to track my package then call me back. This was BullShit no one called me, but today I called and after 27 rings a woman picked up and I asked for a supervisor she said she was the supervisor in a rude tone. Her name is O something Brown. I proceeded to tell her about my package and asked for part of my refund because I paid priority mail to have the box sent and rudely she said they dont give refunds, and that the package was in Memphis which has been there for the last 2 days. She proceeded to tell me that she could give me the phone number for the Post office in Memphis, then she said she wanted to call them. If she took a second to call the Post office in Memphis why couldnt she try to find out what happened to my bloody package???? So pathetic.....Whatever happened to Customer Service? Ill just go back to the Dublin Post Office they are much more personable and helpful. This is there way of ripping off innocent people!

Ladies there are very rude and non-professional. I never saw anyone smile there and you need to be obedient to receive the service. So this time I decided to stand up for myself. I have a few certified mail and the receipts are for my own record. So I told her I just need to mark it and dont need to write down the whole address. She skipped me and called for the next customer. And then she refused to provide me the service. I looked at her name tag and saw her name is Veronica. So I said your name is Veronica. then the lady next to her (her name is something like Racsheen) said "ha, you can read" I dont understand how can they so abuse the customers. I wonder if the post office employees are paid by the tax money and how can they made customers feel so short in front of them. Where are the basic respect. They are inhuman.

Congress is financially starving the US Postal service so that they do not have the budget to provide adequate service and the American people turn against them. Their greedy friends are waiting in the wings to privatize them into a FOR PROFIT organization. One big example is funding their retirement funds in a much greater excess than ANY other company in the US. Google it. No corporation could survive that. With the right funding they could provide better service and expand it to generate more revenue. Most other advanced countries in the world already do this. Once again, the Republican party is holding back advancements in the US. We are increasingly becoming the laughing stock of the world. Until Americans stop voting against their best interests, it will not improve. They get what they deserve. LMAO!

I dont have enough words to describe my frustration with this post office. Its impossible to reach them by phone. When I had a problem and came in person to correct some zipcode information (I accidently put in one wrong digit on the packages that were coming from overseas) they told me not to worry, that it happens all the time and that its not a big deal and I will receive my packages with a delay of a day or two. I had a list of all tracking numbers, my corrected zipcode and contact information in case there are any questions. Well it turned out to be too much effort for this USPS location to fix one digit in the zipcode - it turns out they sent all of my packages back to the sender in China after Ive talked to them. Great job, Emmeryville Post Office. I certainly hope I will never have to deal with you again.

Unequivocally, hands down the very worst post office I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Besides the ridiculous lines there is no customer service here and no one seems to give a damn where you package is that they mishandled, misdirected, or lost…today, I have a $700 package that is currently AWOL, thats been, according to tracking hanging out at the P.O. for two days now. I said, "is it on the vehicle for delivery"?? "Oh yes, it s on the vehicle." "How do you know"? "Well, it must be!" And, of course, it doesnt get delivered after I wait around all day.

They lost my package - the address to which I was shipping it was incomplete, and the package was to come back to me. It had been sent by priority mail with tracking. They claim they sent it back 8/18, but it never showed up in the system. Turns out that they have had problems with their return mail scanning system, so they return mail without scanning it first. My $350 coat went into a black hole. Or someone stole it. Someone was to call me back today to discuss this problem, and of course, no one called. Thats the government for you.

Worst USPS office on the face of the planet. Takes an hour to pick up a package because theres only 1-2 people working EVERY DAY and 10+ people in line. Theyve left our mail lockers open multiple times, our mail has been stolen, my packages have been stolen, my packages have gone "missing" without updated tracking, and worst of all, they dont even answer the phone. Ive called ten times during business hours on separate days and it just rings forever under it automatically hangs up -- government funding cuts at its best right here, yall.

The postman who delivers our mail is really great. The office appears understaffed which is not the fault of the personnel there, and they do their best with what theyve got. Suddenly there is a change in the main computer somewhere outside the office that ir rejecting the mail for almost 1500 homes that have a letter with the apartment number and they dont know how to fix it. Thankfully, my postman goes in to the rejected mail and delivers it anyway. Just very rough when he is off for a day or two.

I dread having to drop off/pick up anything at the Emeryville, CA USPS office...the staffing is too lean and customer service is extremely lacking. This is the same office that delivers my mail to Oakland and my mail/envelopes are consistently tampered with and opened upon delivery. I just tried to call this USPS location to file a complaint and the phone just rang and rang! It is astonishing that such terrible customer service continues in this day and age...USPS wake-up!

I scheduled a redelivery for my order due to missing the original delivery attempt, instead of redelivering the package they sent it back to the sender after only 4 days of it sitting at the post office. I called them to figure out why this happened but they said they didnt how it got sent back (as 15 days at the post office is standard procedure) they admitted that it was totally their bad but offered me no solutions.. Total bummer
