Finding a good mechanic is like finding the needle in the haystack. I have been so frustrated with poor and shady service at private shops or outragous prices at the dealership. A friend passed along the number for Hugos and I couldnt be more satisfied! I took my car in after getting an inflated estimate at the dealership and not only did they finish the job a day earlier than they told me, but they also saved me over $800. Rick even did a couple of little things for free (clearing out some codes for the airbag that another mechanic couldnt figure out, and replacing bulbs that were out). They have a new customer for life. FINALLY I can feel safe about not over paying at the dealership.

I moved to Encinitas a year ago and have taken my car to Hugos for routine maintenance several times. Rick and team always provide great customer service by recommending the just the repairs that are needed. I take my car to Hugos without the angst that I used to have getting my car serviced. Straight shooters. Technically excellent. Highly professional!

The new owner Rick is capable to carry on the tradition of competence and honesty, of the 45+ years old Hugos European Car Service servicing the North Coast Sn Diego. Hugo was a Master Mechanic from Germany and his extra-ordinary care for people was inherited by Rick .
