The owner and the movers are just a bunch of thieving crooks. And, amazingly, police wont or cant do anything. My now ex-boyfriend briefly worked for them for under-the-table payments. I drove him to work several times. Theyre based in North Highlands, off of Orange Grove Ave near the Walmart Supercenter in North Highlands, CA. I thought this was strange as the given address online is completely misleading. Something very important needs to be brought to attention of not only bbb, but to the attention of prospective clients. Seems that theyre slightly choosy about who or just when they rip off clients. Not every client of theirs is ripped off after paying expensive moving fees. HOWEVER, these movers do some very shady things. They do not only disregard safely moving furniture and often break, scratch, generally damage furniture. These movers have a knack for distracting clients with trivial, unnecessary things and not listening to anything their clients tell them while at least one of them goes through previously sealed boxes and closed closets and TAKES EVERYTHING VALUABLE. Anything valuable which you can imagine, they take. Not only that. They are known for using excuses to HOLD EVERY POSSESSION HOSTAGE before the owner starts dodging phone calls. Even in situations when the expensive moving fee was paid half in cash! They are known to charge double the actual labor hours. The ex-boyfriend I mentioned had stolen a few times and tried to rationalize to me that "its okay because the other guys were stealing too." I dont know how the notably rude and shady owner, Mike, has managed to keep the crooked business going but IT NEEDS TO STOP. On Google, there is an odd number of 5 star reviews with 1 star reviews sprinkled in the mix. Granted, the Facebook page did not have a single review before July 1, 2017. But, that just makes them look even more shady. Do not hire them for you could be their next victim and YOU WILL NEVER GET JUSTICE!

Rita Brown July 1 at 3:31pm · I want to make everyone who plans on moving and using movers aware of a situation that happened to me and my family yesterday. We used Folsom Relocation and Storage to move to a new home and they stole thousands of dollars worth of property in addition to our handgun. They made sure to cover for each other by distracting us and blocking us from rooms so they could go through every square inch of both houses. When we noticed (even before the truck was back to their warehouse), we contacted the main office and they basically said theres nothing they can do and to file a police report. We did. As we dug deeper into online reviews, the same thing happened to other people. Please warn any family and friends to not use this company. The names of the three movers were Matt Gratten, Richard Kilpatrick and Patrick Hayes. BEWARE!!

My wife and I hired Folsom Relocation & Storage to move our household from Folsom to the Murphys, CA., area. The moving team arrived on the day at the agreed on time, loaded all of our furnishings and boxes from the inside, then packaged up everything in the garage as well. Roberto and his team, were warm and friendly, willing to tackle anything no matter how challenging, all with good humor and courtesy. The care and patience of the team was exemplary. Not a mark on any wall, or scratch on any surface and not a single item was damaged, in either location. Their professionalism and customer service was of the highest possible level. We are so grateful for the performance of this team and our thanks to the company for helping us to transition, flawlessly, to our new home. We highly recommend the services of Folsom Relocation & Storage.

Worst experience ever! Rude, disrespectful, on drugs and for such a small move, they managed to break my master bedroom furniture and not even move everything. Refusing actually. Threatened to dump everything in my driveway while I was home alone with them. Called my husband who rushed over (five minutes from our house we were moving out of) to find the movers had threatened me. Owner called, Sherriffs called. Found out one mover had warrants out for his arrest...off he went to jail. The other two tweaked out on drugs had to be managed to unload. The stress and personal verbal assault while alone with these guys - sent me by ambulance to the hospital after having already been sick and suffering with a rare illness. Owner was a huge jerk. Did nothing to make good. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! Drugged out LOSERS!

I would definitely recommend your company for moving, what a wonderful crew. My husband had just passed away and they made an exception for me and moved me from my home of 20 years on a Sunday. The crew was so amazing, they were so respectful of our recent loss and treated us like family. They were timely, efficient and worked like a well oiled machine. It was a very difficult time and very emotional for me and my family and we were constantly being reassured by Cedric that all was okay. Our friends had recommended Folsom to us, so we didnt even call another company and Im glad I didnt.

These guys are five star. When I first called for an estimate they were right on time. I called two other moving companies and they were not punctual. Folsom relocation rep was on time and provided me with a written estimate before he left. He explained the process very clearly. The moving crew was something else. On time, fast, friendly, well managed, coordinated and they were problem solvers. I used Folsom Relocation before six years ago and they are as professional of a group as I remember them to be. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We used Folsom Relocation & Storage to unload our trucks. We were quoted 4 hours and were charged for 10.25 hours! We were charged for an extra hour that the men did not work. I called to complain and get a partial refund for the over charges, and had to leave multiple messages for the owner over a period of 2 months before I got a call back. The owner of this company Mike Long was extremely rude, called me names, yelled at me and refused to refund any of our money. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had!

Folsom Relocation and Storage has been my go to company for approximately 15 years. I have used their services for my personal moving needs as well as referring them to my clients. They have always been reliable as well as willing and able to accommodate my schedule. Their office and moving staff are professional, courteous and respectful. They were also careful with my furniture and household items. I would highly recommend them

Wonderful job! Cedric and crew were so courteous, professional and careful. Everyone was polite and conscious about our safety. Our furniture was handled carefully , the men worked in a timely manor. Cedric explained all the paper work to me and made the plans and requirements clear. This was our second experience with your moving company and we chose your company the second time because of Cedric and his great crew!!

This company should be the over priced three stooges! They suck! Owner Mike is the biggest white trash person I have ever cam across! Rio Linda tweek style probably no front teeth and a belly that hangs! Dude took me for time and money! He said one thing and charged me at the end 500 plus over what a tool! I wouldnt use these guys if I had to pack my whole house miles! They suck!!!!
