I hired Mother Load Van & Storage to move my company American Custom Lifts to a new location on April 18, 2015. I had received several bids from other moving companies, but I chose to hire Mother Load. My decision wasnt based on their quote because they werent the lowest, but I hired them because the owner Brian personally came to quote this move and I personally liked him. I asked that we begin the move at 8 am. I arrived at 7:50 am, and as I pulled into the parking lot, here they came. On time! There were four guys, one being the crew leader named Alfredo. Super guy! He cracked the whip in a professional way and it was obvious that his crew respected him, but also liked him. They moved heavy furniture non-stop and they continued until everything was off loaded and put into place. They assisted me with setting up our desks, installing my TV bracket and when all said and done, Alfredo asked if there was anything else I needed them to do. I honestly did not expect this kind of service. I cannot tell you how many times Ive had to relocate my home and office, but never have I hired a crew that showed the kind of care Mother Load showed. I give this credit to the owner Brian for being selective on what kind of people he hires. All the crew was very professional, polite and hard working. Thank you Mother Load. Your on your way for the best moving experience ever! Let me tell you, my relocation consultant Duke Jones was so professional and resourceful estimating my moving expenses from Antelope CA to Naples TX. He covered all the bases and gave me very helpful advise to manage many special items in my home (statues, fountains, and art work). All together, Mother Lode Van & Storage, the driver and staff of the moving van on the day of pickup were very careful and respectful of all my household goods. Not one occurrence was mishandled or treated unkindly. I received my goods 5 days after pickup as promised by the Van Line driver. I can not say enough about Mother Lode Van & Storage. The packers Corey and Memo who arrived on time for pickup helped me finish my last minute packing of many portraits and artwork. Also, my moving consultant Laura was completely on top of taking all the stress out of my world, and manage the specialized crating services we needed for delicate items and kept me in the loop of all schedules and updates. We hit the jackpot when we chose Mother Lode to move us long distance. From Duke our estimator, the packing crew, Vince and the others that loaded it, Joe Perri, the excellent driver that transported it and Angel and crew that unloaded us, there was nothing short of professionalism and respect for us as a family and for all our household items. At no time did we feel our move was in jeopardy because Joe kept us informed of his location and was always available if we needed to contact him along the way. This was THE SMOOTHEST move weve ever experienced...and a special thanks to Laura that helped set this all up!
