Totally horrible, incompetent service I have ordered batteries for an E-bike in China, worth $1,266.00. The USPS parcel tracking number indicates the shipment was delivered to the USPS office in Beijing 8 weeks ago. I started wondering if it got lost and filed a request for parcel search on the USPS website. After 1 week waiting I still have no reply. So I went to the USPS office here in Foster City and asked for my parcel’s whereabouts. Staff here was not able to help me, they suggested I contact the retailer. When I pointed out that the parcel is now in the possession of USPS, so USPS should help me, they gave me two phone numbers to call. The Foster City USPS staff did not help me any further. So I went home and called the first number which, instead of connecting me to a person who may help, hooked me up to a fishy commercial asking for my credit card number. I hung up and called the second number which connected me to a USPS service line where I was put in wait and a computer voice told me I have to wait for an anticipated 36 minutes. After 1 hour and 10 min, a service rep picked up only to transfer me to “international” service. I waited some more until I was told that the battery vendor has to start an international inquiry at the post office in China. In short, nobody at USPS did help me. Worst, most horrible service I have ever gotten when shipping something, USPS! I’ll urge my vendor to go with FedEx next time.

Worst postal service ever! I used priority express mail which guaranteed delivery the next day. First of all, when I tried to track my package it did not show the delivery status. To make it worse, when I visited the Shell blvd USPS, the guy there told me there is no way they can track it because they dont know who the mailman was. This ridiculous behaviour has costed me my school application which was worth 250 dollars and I missed my chance of going to UCSF to study.

CALL THE MAIN NUMBER AND NOBODY WILL ANSWER, RUDE ASSOCIATES AT OFFICE, HALF OF EMPLOYEES BARLEY SPEAK ENGLISH OR HAVE SUCH A STRONG ACCENT THAT YOU CANT UNDERSTAND THEM.SHAME ON OUR POSTAL SERVICE, THIS OFFICE SHOULD TAKE A STRONG LOOK AT THE PEOPLE THEIR HIRING AND REALIZE THAT THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY IS SUFFERING DUE TO THEIR NEGLECT IN THE HIRING PROCESS..

Staff is friendly once you get to know them. Lines are always long during lunch and at the end of day, so I would recommend going during less busy hours. Definitely recommend printing shipping labels from home and then just dropping off at the office. The mail team that works in Foster City are overall a great bunch of folks!

Staffs are not as useful as you find in other post offices. Esp. if something wrong with international delivery then you are done you cant get much help from the staffs here, just have to call the customer service and wait for hours to get some response.

When it comes to post offices this one is great in terms of friendly and helpful staff and supplies to mail materials of various shapes and sizes. Downside is service is really slow and at peak times you could be here a looooong time.

Sent a $100 item and it never made it to its destination and the staff never told me that the option I chose was not trackable. If I knew, I would have looked for alternative ways to send my gift. HORRIBLE

Gr8 location with drive thru and handicap parking close to the front door. Its a shame they have to relocate by the end of 2017. School District purchased property for much need K-8 school.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. There are line ups in the morning and evening though so expect a half hour wait on average during those times.

The clerks are friendly and helpful. Like all post offices, avoid the lunch time or evening rush, then you wont have to deal with the long line.
