The postman left an orange slip in my mailbox yesterday 12/22 saying they missed me even though they never knocked they put the date on it saying 12/21 they said it is a large envelope I went down to the post office and they couldnt find it they said it could be back out with the mailman that they had quite a few new mail people that didnt know what they were doing yet so I went home I waited until I heard the mail lady and I had to chase the mail woman down in the rain getting soaking wet she said she wrote it but didnt have it then said "an old man named Mike wrote it" and she would ask him but didnt know how they would find it or get it to me she drives off i call the post office the woman was rude as heck I tried to explain the situation she didnt want to hear it and kept interrupting me and would not do much to help me and then rudely hung up on me and on top of all of this the slip states I owe $2.99 for postage. I wouldnt normally care but it being Christmas time and plus it could be something official I have to wait until Tuesday because they are off on Monday even though they deliver tomorrow...and at any other time of the year they are not the greatest either if I have something to mail I cant put it in my mailbox because the mailman wont take it

When you just finish your taxes and get to there post office at 4:57 and they dont let you in on the day they are due, that is a serious issue. I am appauled. She told me I couldnt Come in because the line was to long. I dont care what the line is, I got there and it is their job to keep the door open until 5. Especially on the day extensions r due for taxes. I am horrified. I hope the last that sent me away in tears enjoys the 3 minutes she saved herself by sending away a customer in tears. She was kind enough to help the family who walked in 2 min after me though since they only needed to pick something up. So they turned away a paying customer who was on time but they were able to help a non-paying customer who actually came to the door after 5. There is something wrong here. I feel stupid for not asking for a name and trying to get this lady fired. I am just so mad. Who.does that??

I am a 30 plus year native to Grass Valley and I can tell you that this place has gone way, way, down hill. The bulk of the staff (including management) is incredibly rude and act as thought it is our gift to have their service. It is no wonder UPS and FEDEX are kicking their butts! I loath having to go here, and waiting in line while desperately wishing inside that the person who helps me actually gives a damn about their job and the money I put in their checkbooks. You cant even call them, just try! They do not answer and you cant leave a message because its always full. WHAT A JOKE! I hope they end up in a welfare line with someone who is as equally rude and complacent about serving the public. However, credit where credit is due, the very tall, thin older gentle man has always been very kind and polite, much respect to him for not letting his coworkers ruin his disposition.

I made a sale over craigslist and had the buyer send cash over usps priority .... I never got the delivery but my tracking number said delivered and left a note.... My door never had a note on it.... I went in the next day and it turns out someone in the office crossed out my apartment number and wrote another one in sharpie so they were trying to send it to the wrong house .... Note that the sender had the right address but someone in the office changed it for some reason.... So then I requested the envelope since I was there... My drivers license says the name on the envelope and I had proof of the address it was sent to but they still refused to give me the package because I wasnt 21? Im twenty and the package has 400 cash and a shipping label... No reason for me to have to be 21...... And when I asked about everything I was greeted with impatient and rude service

my carrier "Leslie" decided one day she didnt feel like delivering my Amazon and eBay packages I get 2 or 3 times a week, to my house anymore. 800 of driveway takes to much time out of her day and my mail box is down at main rd. So she "Flagged" my address with the usps and said there is no room to turn around. that its unsafe.. Problem with that is i have 5 acres of land and a circular driveway. even the big ups truck has no problem. now she doesnt need to deliver boxes anymore. she just leaves slipps in mailbox down at the road.For me to pick up boxes at post office in town. I have asked to speak with manager and left my name n number 2 times with no call back to this day. I emailed the postal inspector and they said to take it up with my local office. its been 3 months and still no resolution or contact from usps.

United States Postal Service sucks! Our carrier consistently leaves packages by the front gate instead of on the porch out of the rain. Its only ten more feet to put our packages on a dry, safe porch... If they could be bothered to honk, I would come and get it from the driver. I request UPS or FedEx whenever possible. They always leave my packages in a dry, safe spot. And they honk when they park in my driveway so I know theyre here. UPS rocks! Five stars for UPS...

Just now the website says closed. And, closed on Wed. I called & they are open. Am new in town. Asked, "Is this the 1 near downtown?" He replied, there is only 1 in Grass Valley. Kinda annoyed. I stood in line for general delivery. The line was made longer by each of 3 employees having to rpeat a ridiculous canned speech about filling out a survey on-line. Absurd. Who in the world does it? I feel sorry for them. Rebel against canned silliness.

When your mail has been on hold and it is supposed to have been delivered the day before. You call the, because it was not even delivered on the next day. The only girl in the office says" They dont always deliver the mail". I was told it would come today. No mail today either. Guess our mail person did not want to deliver today either.

They have reduced their service protocols to a fine science. They know exactly how to offer service just terrible enough to keep customers from actually going "Postal". There will always be one less person on duty than would be required to keep the line (which is always long) moving smoothly.

I just had a great experience there. Im not sure if everyone is exactly happy coming into work everyday, but I had a complicated shipping transaction to complete and I got through it with their help. The employees were courteous and helpful.

The delivery driver never looked for my house just left through notice in my mail box called customer service and the "manager" said it was my fault because I wasnt home which is was. Terrible service angry horrible customer service
