They need a negative star option. I have NEVER had a good experience at this office. I avoid it whenever possible, to the point that Im thinking of paying for a po box in Loomis where I work and having all my mail sent there so I never have to deal with this place again. Heres the latest SNAFU. I went on vacation and had a hold placed on my mail. I asked for the normal service to resume on 4/7 and checked the option to have my held mail delivered that day (4/7) No mail came on 4/7 but we got an e-mail saying to go in and pick it up. I went in today 4/8, while sick with a 102 fever and was told the driver had all our mail with him. I went back home and waited all day but the mail never came. I finally went out to out extremely undersized mail box and there was a note dated today saying that the box was overfull (duh, 10 days of mail in a 3X3"X8" box) so they took it all back to the po. Now I have to go back tomorrow to get it while still sick. If they would have even left that note yesterday I would have gotten my mail but they didnt even get that right. Also, whenever our box gets overfull they leave the same note saying they took all our mail back to the po and wont try to deliver anymore until we go pick it up. When I ask them why they take the mail thats already in there instead of just leaving it there for us they say its to make room for more mail, which contradicts the note saying they will not bring anymore, and their actions of not bringing more. I have many there complaints about their ineptness and rudeness but am already writing too much. Not to mention they NEVER answer the phone. Its no wonder why people "go postal"

We have one of those community mailboxes in my neighborhood. Several houses go to one area to get mail. One day, ours was broken into. The front plate was broke off and everyone got their mail stolen. The PO never notified anyone. The only reason i knew about it is because my husband was walking over to get the mail and saw a guy fixing the box. He asked him what happened and he said the box was broken into. I immediately called my credit card companies, got a credit monitor company, etc. Again, the PO never put a note in anyones box saying this happened. It happened in the middle of the day while everyone was at work so it was fixed before people got home. Those people will never know it happened. That seems criminal to me. I told as many people I could about what happened and my neighborhood is PISSED OFF that they werent notified. This happened right about the time that tax materials were being mailed out. I though my W-2 was stolen. So you can see why people were pissed. W-2 has my SSN on it! Ive switched everything I can to online. Ive stopped my prescriptions by mail and going back to old fashion pharmacy refills. The only thing i cant stop is the tax stuff. So I let them fill up my box with junk mail and let them deal with it. I go every few months to the PO and dig through the huge pile and get catalogs I want, etc and leave the rest in the floor. If they dont have enough compassion and professionalism to let people know their W-2 could have been stolen, I dont have compassion for them either.

I really want to reach out and thank both Alex and Mark. (Rocklin), and from 60617 in South Chicago, for working with me on catching and stopping a fraudulent purchase that was shipped through to Rocklin. Alex and Mark worked very hard to find my package in a green box that was scheduled to leave this morning for delivery and as they were about to send off with the truck I called to ask for package intercept because there was so little time to get through before it would end up in the wrong persons hands. It is awesome to know that people still care enough to take the time to do something that would normally be shoved off as no big deal, and thus they stopped from rewarding the fraudulent behavior that was committed. I can say that my trust in USPS workers has really gone up and that when someone says anything bad, I will be ready to defend them after what Alex and Mark have both show to me today. They have saved the day for me and my friends, and I greatly appreciate them. Can you imagine if we all would take that special effort to take care of our clients the way these two did? I think we need more people who will step up like they did. Again, I thank both of them from the bottom of my heart and may God bless them with great and many wonderful things

The lady my husband and I spoke to was very rude and obviously did not know what the hell she was doing. She spoke to us like we were complete idiots. We live in an apartment complex and any boxes that we were supposed to get were to come to our main office and drop off a slip in our mailbox saying to go there to pick it up. Well, so far every package weve had, we did not receive any sort of slip at all. We had to go check on our packages almost every day. So, today we went here and the lady wouldnt even let my husband speak at all. She snottily said "did you receive a slip like this?" and held it up. My husband tried to explain what was going on and she just literally kept talking. Never mind about the package problem that I already had with the box my parents shipped me which was a guaranteed 2-day shipping and its now the 4th day... I absolutely hate USPS. I feel like they hire people who havent graduated from primary school.

There is really something going on at this post office. First off the service is horrible, yes I know post office workers are always crabby and never that helpful so it is to be expected but here they are down right lazy and some of the slowest people I have ever encountered. Throughout 2011 I started noticing that I would go a day here or there without receiving any mail which is not common at all for me, I even went 4 days in a row without a single piece of mail or even an ad. Then I dropped off three letters in the box outside of the post office, one arrived to central california within 2 days and the two others took 3 weeks to arrive to their destinations (one in Iowa the other in Florida). I dont know if the budget cuts are causing this or what, but there is truly something wrong with the Rocklin Postal Service.

This is my first time going to this Post Office. Boy, it is a zoo house full of people. Also, the man BEHIND THE COUNTER with the accent is very RUDE. HE reads the FRONT covers of my card revealing my name, address and my SEND TO name and address. Now, if I get robbed or if my SEND TO gets robbed, I am going to sue him for reading my name, my address out LOUD. He might as well used an intercom and broadcast it to the room full of people. Does he want to know what I wrote on the card too? SHEEEZZZ. And now you ask why I do not use USPS and rather go PAPERLESS... HERE IS #1 REASON. Is my mail safe in the hands of who I give it to? Am I safe using my credit card to pay? SO ONE STAR for HATED IT.
