It is with much regret that I am writing this review. I have been dealing with Hayward Body Shop for over 10 years. Richard is an outstanding man. He and his wife having been running the body shop for many years. Richard is an excellent business man, who conducts himself with the utmost respect and had been always working for the customer. Today I went in to have an estimate done on my 1992 Silverado Truck. His wife whom I always kinda felt she was a bit uppity helped me. I asked her if I needed an appointment and she said no. But step outside and I will be with you. Well, I stepped outside and I couldnt find her and then she appeared with a bit of an attitude. She used the the words "grilling you" which I felt was inappropriate for any type of customer service. She thought the top piece above the fender of my truck was a separate piece. Which it is part of the bed liner. She said the side fender could be rubbed out and the side of bumper could just be fixed. She wouldnt let me finish any part of a sentence and then informed me...."We deal primarily with Insurance Companies and that is why I am grilling you to find out what exactly you want" I replied well, I want it done right. she said, "Right? again thats what I am trying to find out by grilling you, and besides we have so many cars that we do have other people when can refer you too." Goodness, is money, green cash not taken respectfully enough? She huffed off like a child to retrieve her husband Richard. Who humblely came out with two business cards in is hands and I said here are two referrels for two other shops. I replied, did I upset your wife? and shook his hand, And he turned around a muttered yes you did and just kepted walking. Again, what a disappointment. I have brought several cars over the 10 plus years to this establishment and had the utmost respect for Richard Ogle. However, I must say, I was a bit disappointed when he knuckled under too is wifey who I believe should have stayed a blondy (maybe blondes have more fun lol) Instead of her now hard dark brown look. I left the cards on the pavement in their fancy OCD lot with the help that sadly cant speak very clear English and are afraid of the mean witch of Mission Blvd. Body Shop and went to JimNic Body Shop in Castro Valley. Jeff is such a sincere nice guy. Been in the business for many years. I highly recommend him.

I recently needed to fix body work on 2 vehicles, a 2002 Lincoln Mercury Villager and a Jaguar. On both insurance claims and repairs, the front desk staff was friendly, and efficient. I also needed a ride home after dropping off my vehicles both times and they provided me with a fast ride with no complaints. The body work and paint was outstanding and the biggest surprise for me was was FAST their service was...I mean like a couple of days. With other body shops I have used over past 4 or 5 years, I know body repairs always took about a week. I would highly recommend this body shop to everyone. The owner John was very friendly and I could tell by the way he operates that he doesnt mind doing the little "extra" unexpected things that customers appreciate.

I went here to fix a small fender bender and all I have to say is that the service here is amazing! The owner is extremely knowledgeable, and quite friendly as well. He took the time to explain the repair process, and what actually was done when I went to pick up the car (complete with printed photographs of the process as well as a personal showing of the removed damaged parts). The quality of their work is top-notch as well. My car is beautiful once again. Theyll even give you a ride home if you live near by! Highly recommended and would definitely go back without hesitation.

When I walked in the two ladies working in the office were having a conversation between themselves so they didnt acknowledge me until they were ready. Then I was told they only do estimates until 4pm (it was 4:30) and they also only deal with certain insurance companies. I just needed my bumper repainted and was paying out of pocket so they wouldnt have helped me anyway. Im sure under the right circumstances theyre helpful, just not in my situation. However, theres no excuse for not greeting me when I came in.

I ve been using this body shop since I moved to Hayward 12 years ago. Every time when I have had collision damages on my cars, I had to make estimates for the damages, and this place always had the best honest price. And I was never disappointed with the workmanship either. I suggest anybody to drop by and get an estmate if you need an auto body work. Take my word. Just compare with other places.

This was my first time ever having to get a car fixed and they were by far the best. They have great customer service and family friendly and very understanding not only did they stay late and wait for me to arrive but they broke down every detail of my bill. Took the time to work with me and my car and now my car look just like I got it off the lot.. Thank you guys so much

Great service. They fixed some old body damage that was involved with new body damage at a ridiculously cheap price. Highly recommended for insurance claims.
