Luscious Beauty

Joining Metroflex Gym Long Beach has been one of the best decisions I ever made in my life! I know that sounds like an exaggerated infomercial claim but is the absolute truth: When I joined I was twice my size and suffering from chronic pain. Today I am SO STRONG, I actually have some cardiovascular endurance, and for the first time in my life I actually ENJOY EXERCISING! There are so many different types of training available at Metroflex that I never find myself bored or spending hours on end on a treadmill will little results to show. Even though it may look intimidating from the outside, there are members of all ages and abilities and the staff and other members are incredibly helpful and encouraging. If you are on the fence, please go check it out, you will be so glad you did!

Where do I even start this place is my home away from home no I no longer hold a membership with them I still try my best to go once a month the atmosphere in this place is just amazing at first I was so intimidated by everyone that worked out in the gym but once I step foot in it I realize when was just awesome the people here are down-to-earth willing to help and dont have huge egos if you ever just want to work out somewhere and lift some weights and or are starting a new goal or resolution this is honestly the place to start everybodys willing to help it is honestly one big happy family hats off to the owner Eddy who made this all possible this is an incredible place to work out and become who you want to become

Moved from Philly and found this gym. Was surprised about the 50 a month, they have deals if in military, but its worth it. Like other comments, there are simply no other gyms like this around here. I mistakenly left this gym to go to a 24 hour gym and environment, iron, and learning is very important. Needless to say Im back. This gym collectively can make you into a better athlete!!! Think about your goals. Get big, go hard, join this gym.

This gym is hardcore. They have huge spheres of concrete for lifting. There is a regulation size wrestling mat. Squat racks take up an entire wall of the gym. There is no locker room or air conditioning because I dont pay membership fees for fluff. If you want to push yourself to your limits, youre not afraid to get dirty doing it, and surround yourself with other people doing the same thing, come check out my gym

I drive 30 miles to go here because there is no other place like it. I never felt more accepted because the staff here are so friendly and so giving. The gym itself is perfect. im a bodybuilder and this gym provides me with enough weights and equipment so I dont have to wait for anything. Eddie is a good man and the trainers here are second to none.

Gym is cool. Hours are not the best. Not great for working out in the summer as it gets extremely hot in the building. All the trainers know what they are doing except Zabrina Quiiano. She is extremely haughty and somewhat arrogant. I would rate her a zero. Otherwise its satisfactory

Watched lifting competition here, $5 cash admission. GOOOO @RockyBangg! Parking is free among all businesses there, closed on a Sunday, just dont block gates. Black seems to be a theme color for attire here. No AC, lots of fans, even spectacular will be sweaty on hot days.

Perfect atmosphere for Iron heads. Music in the background. Every weight range you can think of. I drove from Los Alamitos daily about 0445 to Long Beach off of South and Obispo just for this place. Well worth it and Ill be back.
