Been a member here since they started over a year ago. Made a lot of friends in Crossfit class. I really like the members in this gym. The martial arts classes have real cool peeps too. But I cant stand the Crossfit coach and his wife. They are absolutely unprofessional. Everyone knows when the couple are fighting cause you hear it during workouts. Dirty laundry and all! This causes an uncomfortable. awkward gym experience. They have their kids at the gym running around the workout area But most unsettling of all is 2 episodes where I had a sandwich and chips in my bag went missing. I overheard a parent relate the same experience. No one has time for that! All my other friends are quitting. all the girls are gone or leaving. My other friend told them she was quitting and they charged her another month on her card. The gym is beautiful and the members are great. But this couple had put a negative vibe in this place. Too bad they are the "owners" of the gym. Just 2 blocks away on Orange Ave. is a Crossfit box bustling with 400 happy members!

Coach Tony and Jasmine are some of the best Crossfit and gym owner/operators in SoCal. They care about their athletes fully and put them first, always. The community at UTC is wonderful, I was welcomed right away! They also bring in specialization for things like rowing and weightlifting - which is awesome. You might even diversify your training with the other disciplines that they offer (jiu jitsu and Eskrima). If youre looking for a great facility to train, hardworking athletes to help you excel, community and awesome instruction from experienced coaches - WOD. HERE. NOW!

I workout there, and know that Tony is one of the best Crossfit instructors around. The gym has great equipment, clean, and friendly atmosphere. If you have trouble with a technique, or simply tired, Tony is there to support you. I like the fact that he as a world class jiujitsu team there, and that is a testament to his skills.
