First of all let me say that I would not be put off by a few negative reviews as you are not assured of hearing the whole story. I looked at a few of the negative comments and then looked at the positive ones--that is a more realistic picture of what is going on in my book. My experience was first rate. I went to the facility on Motor Ave., run by Jimmy. I needed an oil change, a safety check, and my AC fixed. From start to finish he and his shop won me over. Jimmy explained everything very clearly as to what they were going to do. I needed a ride to and from work, and they provided one. The driver was very nice and professionally dressed. Jimmy did all the work I asked for and didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didnt need. In fact, this is the first time Ive had a car in a shop in a decade where I didnt have a laundry list a page long that they said needed to be done. When I picked up my car, Jimmy shook my hand and thanked me for my business. My car is not leaking after the oil change. My AC is blowing colder than the Arctic. Would I recommend them? Heck yeah! Dont waste your time and money anywhere else! And thanks Jimmy! Im a real happy camper right now!

I have found their prices to be fair and their service good. They are done when they say they will be and keep me posted throughout the day if there are any special issues that come up, e.g., a part is delayed in arriving. I recently took my car in to have its side passenger mirror replaced. They charged less than the 3 other places I called. Granted, 2 of those were dealerships, but even those were cheaper than Pep Boys. In addition, there is a groaning sound coming from the rear suspension. They were not 100% sure, but thought it was the struts. It would be about $1,000 to replace them all, so they recommended I drive longer on the ones I had as they werent unsafe, just loud. They couldve told me they had to be done and made a pretty penny.

Guys FIXCARNOW is hands down the best in the business. I am a former ASE certified mechanic and i never let shops work on my cars. Jimmy gave me a square deal on the parts, they do not mark them up like all other shops!! This shop is tops and i trust them with my babies 100%. Dont mess around with anyone else. Ignore those other reviews.. these guys are top notch there is no where else in down town LA i would ever go to. I have sent many people there never a complaint. The negative BS below is not at all true. They send updates for tuneups and oil changes by email.. so what!

Tried them out because I thought it would be convenient as they are in my office building. All I wanted was a oil change and specifically told them not to give the car an inspection to see if it needed anything else. I reiterated "Just change the oil." Well, they performed the inspection anyway and then had the audacity to tell me that I needed new brakes. I turned them down and took the car to my usual mechanic who told me that my brakes were fine. In fact, I ended up getting about 10,000 more miles on the brakes before they needed changing.

Filled out a comprehensive online form to make an appointment that included my e-mail and phone number and left a message on their voicemail with my number on 12/17. Its now the end of the day on 12/19 and I havent heard from them at all. Do you even want any business? Update 1/15: Got a call from Fixcarnow today that GOOGLE CALLED AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS REVIEW. F@#K YEAH GOOGLE. They said their e-mail and phone system were not working which is suspicious but Ive changed my review to 3 stars for the apology.

HORRIBLE!!! Ive had my older Honda Civic fixed by them plenty of times. They never seemed to get the car fixed. I come in for one thing, then something else goes wrong and the cycle continues. By the time you finally realize that they are either ripping you off or they just dont know whats wrong with your car, youve already paid hundreds of dollars. Ive left this place almost in tears at one point. Its convenient but they are not trustworthy and thats my 2 cents!

Service is good but for the money you pay I would be surprised if its not excellent. They differently charge 2-3 times more then regular gas station services. Somebody would say they are professionals and this is really convenient if you work in the building but just try to call elsewhere and get your estimate for the same service before you leave your car here. You might be pleasantly surprised :)

Chance and Jimmy - I cant thank you enough for keeping my wifes mini-van (and my truck) in good shape. Weve just returned from a 2500+ mile road trip and the car ran like a champ! I stopped going there because they were constantly pointing out new problems every time I brought my car there. After spending thousands of dollars, they still told me to fix this and that, so I decided not going there. After two years, my car is running totally fine without any problem. DO NOT GO THERE!

I called without an appointment for an oil change and told them I only had an hour for lunch and it is 5 minutes away. To my surprise, they finished in 35 minutes!! Outstanding service and I will definitely be back!

I had a great experience. I was in a bind and had a blown coolant tank and they fixed it up in a short amount of time with a totally reasonable price. Everything seems to be running great. Thanks guys.

Just so you know, they are at the bottom level of a parking garage. Good if you r getting routine service, pretty weird for getting repairs. Still waiting for the car at the moment.

Terrible!! They tried to charge me $600.00 for a radiator just because I was in a desperate situation. They dont even deserve a 1 star rating.
