This is by far the worst Post Office on the planet. An identity thief forwarded my mail to his address. They actually forwarded it with HIS signature on the form. When I pointed it out, instead of immediately rescinding the forward, they put it in the system so 10 more days mail went to this joker. I got a P.O. box at another PO and forwarded my mail, but these clowns neglected to tell the mailperson. So he held my mail for months. I looked into it and then suddenly a ton of mail is delivered to my house, not the P.O. Box. They act like youre an inconvenience and treat you like s**t. When they told me they had allowed a thief to receive my mail for 10 MORE DAYS, I literally cried. The "manager" told me she felt threatened! By tears? Who wouldnt be upset? They never got it right. I had to notify everyone individually to make sure I get my mail at the P.O. Box so no one can steal it. AVOID if you can. Id give them zero stars if I could as well.

I called asking them if they had any mailing tubes and the guy proceeded to ask me all these questions about the specifics of the weight of what I was mailing. I told him I wasnt trying to mail something through the post office. He said he needed to know that in order to answer my question about the mailing tubes. I told him "Look. I am trying to mail some blueprints that are 4 1/2" wide by 24 1/4" long. Do you have a box or a mailing tube that can fit that??" He said (after 15 minutes of us going in circles) "No". I said thank you and hung up the phone. This is a place that hates you as soon as they hear your voice on the other end of the phone. They dont want to help you and they have no interest in getting you what you need or want. If youre going to use a post office in this area, use the one on York. They are much nicer people and are always willing and eager to help.

Using this office for 35 years - best post office in town. Anyone who complains has never used other offices. Workers speak English and many other languages. Service excellent. If you have a grip it is due to the lack of funding on a federal level not the workers who are just as frustrated as all of us. However lines are short except at opening hours or holidays. Come a few hours after opening or two hours before closing. I suggest you have some understanding and patience, this is as good as it gets! Dont believe me, drive up Verdugo and try the PO at Broadway, much longer lines!

My office is up the street from this location, our building is currently under going construction and we no longer have a mail box, we made an arraignment to have the mail man come to the front door and deliver/pick up mail, and for 6 months all was well. recently our normal mailman transferred and the new person is too lazy to keep to the current arraignment and they either dont bring our mail or leave it outside with out letting anyone know. I have tried to call and talk to the manager, and I get no where, I am going there first thing in the morning and handling this personally.

Worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time. Waited over 10 min in line to be told i was waiting in the wrong line since i was dropping off a parcel. Moved and waited again, this time i was told they didnt have any freaking tape to close off my box. I left it open thinking they were gonna scan the items i was sending back to Direct TV. I ask the attendant again if they really didnt have some tape and she gave me this look saying Im sorry theres nothing i can do for you. Seriously people learn how to treat the public and maybe the post office wouldnt be going bankrupt.

Within the last three weeks the postman/woman has put our neighbors mail in our box. My husband found mail tossed in the street, and last night the postman never attempted to deliver a package, but instead noted that there was no secure location to leave package. I was sitting in my living room with the door open. He never stopped by here. Also, he noted that a note was left to notify me of the attempted delivery. No note left. This post office is the worst!! Terrible customer service in the actual office too! Long lines and usually only one or two postal workers.

Crooks! We’ve had multiple packages “delivered” without receiving them --on days that we’re home all day no less! It’s always the nice things too, like expensive sunglasses, leather shoes, jewelry and JCrew sweaters... Yet we get junk-mail with our address on it, every day? Seems pretty suspicious. We’ve complained to the post office and the manager does NOTHING. He just advises us to re-order out merchandise. This post office is REALLY shady, with shady employees.

Worst post office ever! It does not deserve that one star. And its getting worse. Now they only hire temp workers. So much missing mail! They just leave the mail on top of the mailbox - too lazy to give it that extra push to fall into the box. Or they leave packages on the shelve at the station, dont even attempt to deliver. The clerk just shrugged her shoulders. I cant wait for this office to close for good.

As of June 2016 the new manager is a jerk. Please bring the previous one. She was gracious enough to hold my mail, as my mail was disappearing often. I wanted to rent a box, and there is a waiting list, I imagine due to their incompetence. Employees are nice, but my packages get lost. This office should be investigated. I complained several times to the postmaster, with no results.

Worst parking and business hours EVER!!! ALWAYS mess up the receiving of packages and service is outrageously horrible. The Post Master General of this place is equally as bad, as suggestions to her are unwelcome and met with hostility and rude comments. How the Government allows such business practices to continue is a disgrace to this community and our country.

This post office constantly delivers my neighbors mail to me (to date its 4+ different people) and delivers my mail to them or loses my mail all together. Either they dont return my mail or it getting Mia handled. The neighbors addresses are VERY different but we have the same apartment numbers so the mail carrier isnt reading the names or the entire address.

Ernies The best! Everyone else that works here is horrible for some reason my packages never make it to me they never answer their phones and they just leave packages right outside if no one answers right away after one quiet little knock. I wish there was a way to request that only Ernie delivered my mail hes the only one thats trustworthy!

this post office couldnt deliver an envelope to themselves ive been receiving mail from around the neighborhood in my box and usually to more mail delivery by foot in one day than my mail carrier does in a week if you must use the post office , use the one@ 5132 York Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90042-1716
