My experience with Valea, the Property Mgr @ Los Gatos on University Ave. was exilerating to say the least. Im in the process of moving to the Los Gatos area, and have been doing my research on various storage properties. So far, THIS location is definitely my favorite. I have nothing but positive feelings about Valea and her presentation of Public Storage. She is very professional, courteous and upbeat. Her units & restroom were SPOTLESS, She was extremely thorough in explaining pricing and sizing. And even though another customer called in, she made it clear to me that she would give me her undivided attention. She finished up her phone call in a timely manner and she continued with my inquiries without missing a beat. I really enjoyed meeting Valea and her attempt to make me feel comfortable in hopes of choosing Public Stoarge to satisfy my storage needs. Thank you Valea for being so kind.

Once in a while one can be lucky to do business with a true professional. I was lucky to do do business with such a person at Los Gatos Public Storage where VALEA is the manager of this storage facility. I have three lockers for over a year and during this time I have not encountered a problem she could not tackle and solve it. Valea is a rare and valuable asset for Public Storage, she treats you like a human being rather than just a number. Her knowledge should be made into a manual to be used by all managers in this large company. Moving is not a pleasant experience, but Valea makes it pleasant. I recently had a pressing need to acquire storage space and recalled that -- 30 years ago -- my father had used this very same Public Storage site for years. So... I booked online, due to the highly competitive rates for this area, and sealed the deal in person due to the responsiveness, professionalism, and good humor of Sophie, who answered all my questions and gave me a tour of the facility before signing up. Bottom line: I felt very confident with a) the online process/website and b) the clear competence and personableness of Sophie. I have a byline that I place at the end of my outgoing emails, "Enjoy this moment in time" and I try to live by that byline. When I go to the Los Gatos office of Public Storage, I enjoy every moment! Valea, the Manager of that office, makes it happen. She is so thoughtful and so customer oriented. We are not customers to Valea, we are friends coming to pay a visit. For that reason alone, I would recommend that Public Storage to anyone looking for some storage space. But, in addition, the use of the entrance and exit is extremely easy and secure, the hallways are well lit, the floors are clean and I have never had to wait for a cart. Don Callahan

My Parents and I have been renting various units at the Los Gatos Public Storage location for over 25 years, as we are in real estate and we are required to store files for at least 10 years. Valea, the on site Manager, is always kind and courteous, and has a friendly smile to greet us. She goes out of her way to accommodate any request for assistance. Her unique combination of warmth and professionalism makes our visits to the Los Gatos Public Storage office a pleasure. The facilities and grounds are clean and well lighted, and the location, near downtown, is perfect for accessing our records. We highly recommend this facility to everyone.

I have been with your storage unit for many years and have had nothing other than a great experience. Thanks to the manager on site Valea i feel my unit is safe and know with her managing the property my unit is being looked after for with care. Its like going on vacation and know your house is looked after for by someone you can trust. Not to mention every first of the month when i go in to pay the rent its like going and talking to the neighborhood mom at your local mom and pop store, Its a great feeling. Maria was very helpful while I rented a temporary storage locker between October 2015 and January 2016. My only complaint is that I wasnt aware that the lock I purchased from them wasnt returnable. I dont really need a $20 lock that has "public storage" engraved on it. Oh well. The facility was clean and secure. I slowly filled the unit over the course of several weeks and saw her often sweeping and otherwise keeping the premises clean. If I were still living in that area I would certainly use their facility again.

I been having to rent storage for many years, because rents are so high for apartments. I only go in to pay my rent when the manager is there Valea . She is always so friendly and helpful. I know the manager has been there a longtime, so I feel like she is part of my family. She is always cleaning up the place and checking the locks on the storage units. The prices are really high for rent there at Public Storage, but I feel that my things are safe there, so I dont want to move.

Weve been renting a unit at this facility for about 8 months. The property is in a very convenient location for Los Gatos, and it is very clean and well managed. Valea, the property manager, is truly the best! From the moment we stepped into her office she has been helpful and accommodating. She is exceptionally informative and knowledgeable about the facility and was able to answer all of our inquiries. Thats why we chose to rent here. And we are very glad we did!

Just rented a space here. The manager on-site (Russell) was very efficient and helpful. The locker spaces seem nice and clean, and every storage unit is on the first floor which is nice so you dont need to mess with elevators. All in all it was quick and easy to rent a place. One feedback would be to have more push carts available, as the building I got my space in did not have one, although there was one available in the next door building.

She is always very professional, helpful and treats you like family or a friend everytime you come into the office. I have had nothing but great customer service and no problems with my unit or Public Storage. I feel that the items I am storing are in safe hands. I would highly recommend this Public Storage site.

Valea is very attentive, friendly and helpful. We appreciate and enjoy how clean and well maintained she keeps the entire facility, especially the restroom. This location offers good lighting (hallways and in storage) and very helpful flatbed carts available. Its truly about all you could need or would ever expect from a storage facility.
