The staff I encountered the day I initiated my space lease, two ladies, were very helpful and courteous. I actually first attempted an online reservation, which was completed, and then got a phone call from the staff within one hour of my confirmation. They are very on top of their flow of vacancy and spaces. When I physically arrived, they gave me accurate and detailed descriptions regarding the spaces available, and were straight forward about pricing and the pricing fluxes that I may encounter throughout the year depending on the market. Good to know so I wont be surprised about anything later. I felt my belongings would be safe and they conveyed that impression very well. They became aware I had just moved into the area and were extremely welcoming in their attitude towards me and my wife as newcomers. They clearly explained the logistics of getting into and out of the facilities and efficiently handled the computer process of my leasing agreement. They also answered plenty of my hypothetical situation issues and I definitely have peace of mind with my belongings here. It is a good location with adequate parking and loading spaces. If youre on the fence, stop hesitating before your ideal space gets taken.

Where do I begin? How about with customer service? When I received a call from Marion after signing up on the website, I knew I had found the right place to store my belongings. I had quite an attitude when Marion called and I rudely said "Well if I could get off the phone with you then maybe I can let you know what time I will make it". I was having a bad day and rushing to pack and Marions kind tone did not waver. She did not respond to my rudeness but instead asked what she could do to help me and that I could talk to her whenever I got a chance. I did call back and apologize and Marion never was rude (she had every right to be) and was totally professional and helpful. When I arrived, she and the staff greeted me and my son .like we were old friends. Marion even explained some questions I had about the location of stores in the area and wished me the best in my move. Marion then went on to explain everything about the rental agreement and sent me an email that included a copy of the contract. Marion is a real gem to Extra Space Storage; I just hope the company knows how she made our day.

This was a wonderful experience. I was driving around Seaside, Ca looking at different storage units, trying to get quotes from different people. Two of my phone calls were never returned. One place would not show us the units and said that the squares on the floor were an approximation of the size. Then I went to Extra Space Storage! I met with Marion and she was amazing. Not only did she take us around to show us different units, she found one that was close to the elevator for me so that I would not have to move my stuff as far. Their cart to take things to the units are easily to handle and you can actually stack quite a bit on top of the carts. I have dropped of numerous loads and things have been so easy and simple. I unloaded about 18 boxes from my car and had them unloaded on the third floor in my unit in under 5 minutes. The customer service was amazing and I have already recommended Extra Space Storage for one of my coworkers. An added plus is that it is gated which makes me feel secure dropping things off at night.

Convenient, Secure, Great Value! The staff (Marion and Alwin) were extremely helpful, courteous, professional and so very pleasant during my usage of over a year for my business. The price was competitive with others in the area and their terms for leasing are very flexible. I was so happy with it that I recommended it to others including my girlfriend and now I continue to store with them in a larger unit, now with my girlfriend! As long as I have storage needs in this area I see no reason to go elsewhere. They have a unique and up to date market-based valuation for rentals at any given time so it stays competitive, yet they will accommodate long term leases as well. Hours are great and convenient and the place is clean. The only (very small) complaint is that I wish the timers for the lights went beyond 1/2 hour so if you have to work in your unit for awhile you dont have to keep going back to turn the lights on. This Extra Space storage location is your worst nightmare. I went to help move my mother in-law who is 80 years old. The elevator was broken so we had to wheel her boxes down 2 flights of stairs to get them out of the space. In addition, the sensors for the one way direction gates were broken so you could not get out of the facility! Customers were climbing over fences to go around to the front gate to get in and out. How is an 80 year old woman supposed to do that? In addition, the "managers" would not answer their phone so customers could report the hazard! What if someone had a heart attack or serious health issue as a result of the moving? Extra Space, was completely unresponsive when we shared our experience. Thank God all their locations are not this disrespectful. It was one of the worst "customer service" experiences of my life.

I just have to give this facility a major %110 in customer service my experiece is alway amazing, you see I have rented here in the past and I wouldnt go anywhere else Ms. Marion & Liz are truly two awesome team players. Always professional and anticipated my needs as soon as I walked in the door. Safety is a very big issue for me, because of some personal set backs my family has been misplaced and its extremly important that our things are kept in a safe and secure facility . And just knowing the caliber and integrity of your facility and "Marion & Liz" I can rest assured and not give it a second thought , as well as Im able to sleep at night . Thank you so very much for all you do !!!

I absolutely LOVE the employees here ! Marion and Liz are the REASON I come back here . I used extra storage almost 3 years ago and I came back because the customer service is AMAZING! I highly recommend ANYONE looking for a friendly reliable storage place that go here . Again I simply cant put into words how much I LOVE THE WOMAN of this company . Thank you for all your help! Their staff really goes out of their way to make each customer feel welcome and like a friend . They facility is well kept , there supply is very reasonably priced , they are not looking to take advantage , but are making u apart of a family ! Put simply , I LOVE THIS COMPANY AND THE EMPLOYEES !

Obviously the customer service! I look forward to going to my storage unit and especially when im in a bad mood because the staff always cheers me up! Their all great but Liz has the best sense of humor :). They are the best of any business with follow up calls and application procedures! No B.S. Or complications! There also lenient with some protocol, for example i wanted a different storage locker, not only did they keep an eye out for the one that i was hoping for but they let me transfer at no cost! I believe that is actual better for business in most circumstances in the long run! Ive been there a year now and dont think ill be leaving anytime soon.
