I have been using the Los Altos office for many years and on average I give this location a B-, but after a visit on April 19, 2016 (~3:15 pm) this rating has dropped down to a D-. A receptionist, who @ all companies represents the company, is the first person you see/greet, gave the attitude that she needed to find another job as I was greeted with in very unenthusiastic manner, almost as if it was a bother. As I waited to see an agent, I observed the receptionist interact with other AAA members and she gave them the very same service I received - "POOR". I saw an agent come back in from lunch and after reaching her desk she asked the receptionist if I was waiting to be seen, the agent had to ask her, the receptionist several times and she finally answered "I guess so". Needless to say this was very unprofessional and extremely rude. The agent who attended me was very, very nice, a very nice woman whom I had interacted with in a couple prior visits. I told her that she more than made up for your receptionist rudeness. This receptionist, who in my opinion. very much needs to be retrained in the proper handling of AAA members or should give serious thought of finding another line of work.

This company is a scam I have insurance for my car with AAA for 2 years and couple weeks ago they send me a letter that they rise fee for 100% of what I payed before and I dont have any tickets or accident . When I visited their office they told me that in previous contract it says that I drive my car for only 5000 miles a year which is not possible at least for me cause my commute about 30 miles a day minimum and when I was signing the paperwork nobody mentioned miles at all , but now they got some contract with guys who track milage on you car whenever you do maintenance change oil or whatever in a service so they told me that I drive at least 15000 miles a year and that is true the question is why they didnt mention the mileage before and why they risen the fee only for 100% cause 15000/ 5000 = 3 so it should be 3 times more lol ))) I dont like when someone trying to fool me in such a stupid way , AAA please add some creativity in your scam schemes. .My advice dont deal with them, it is not that good old solid AAA like it was before they became looters and fraudsters.

I was floored at how poorly I was treated on the phone. First the menu system for getting someone tho help me with a vehicle registration, sent me to a phone, that is never answered. I eventually called the operator to get connected and she confirmed, they dont answer the phone and no I cannot make an appointment. When I asked a few more questions about the best time to arrive, I was essentially rushed off the phone. this experience was amazingly bad.

I will never go back to this location after using it for over a year now. Tired of waiting in line, and employees that always seem unhappy and uncaring. I spent 25 minutes waiting in line at the DMV services counter today. Honestly whats the point, might as well just go to the DMV. Even with a long line of people waiting, the employees worked super slow. Just fed up with it.

Very, very poor service. I called to ask about DMV services. I couldnt get to a human being. I was given a recorded message to leave my contact information, and someone would contact me. I left my information. No one contacted me. I called again. The same story. If I could have given no stars, I would have.

Day after THANKSGIVING and Jeff and 1 other cat was in the office, and helped me out. Didnt expect anybody to be in but swung by anyways and sure enough 2 cats were. On the holiday helping people out. Dont find that kind of service well didnt expect that kind of service. Thank yall.... Scott Stewart

Went for car registration. Recently came to know that AAA members can do car registration through AAA. Smog check station is next to AAA office. Patient and friendly staff. They made sure all my questions related to other services were answered.

Walked right in only had to wait about 3 minutes for DMV services. I went in to pay my registration and as it turns out it was am error on the DMVs part and only had to pay for new stickers. Total time was less than 10 minutes

Great way to avoid the long lines at the DMV for certain tasks. Very easy to use for emergency towing. They also have discounted tickets to many theme parks and museums in the area.
