I just had to write a review and talk about how thrilled I am with Patricia and the staff at the Newbury Park facility. I live out of state and I have a bit of a unique situation, in that a so-called "friend" of my recently deceased father has been trying to gain access to my storage unit. She has called Extra Space and tried to talk them into opening up my unit so she can get stuff out of it, which of course Patricia wont even think about doing! However, Patricia goes beyond merely "following the rules" when it comes to protecting my unit and my privacy; I really feel like she guards it as if it were her own personal property. I would go so far as to say that shes so protective of my unit, that Im not sure shell even let ME into it when I get back to California! Seriously, though... if your belongings matter to you, this is where you want to store them, and this is who you want in charge. :-)

Yolanda, the manager at the Newbury Park location of ESS, is just a gem!! I havent met her in person, as I live out of state and she was not with ESS when I rented my unit. However, I have dealt with her many times over the phone and through e-mail, and she always leaves me in such a good mood! I know that sounds corny, but in a world where common courtesy is going by the wayside, she has restored my faith that customer service is alive and well, at least some places. Knowing that the facility has a competent, professional staff is important to me, being so far away, and I truly feel like Yolanda is a guardian angel watching over my "stuff" and keeping it safe. Even if ESS were more expensive than other nearby facilities (which it is NOT), I would pay the extra for a manager like Yolanda. You just cannot beat her "service with a smile" attitude!

The Newbury Park Extra Space Storage facility deserves a stellar review. Patty Allen is the property manager and, from helping me to choose the right unit for my needs 6 months ago, to Pattys terrific, professional attitude, and responsiveness to communication, she has provided outstanding customer service in every respect. Patty has also kept the storage areas immaculate and in great repair, and the grounds in excellent condition. Altogether, Patty maintains runs a first-rate operation, and represents a business that has delivered - as promised - from A-to-Z. I highly recommend choosing the Newbury Park Extra Space Storage facility.

We all hate the transition of moving... Its the ultimate buzz kill! Patty with the Newbury Park facility made this process incredibly easy and efficient. She is incredibly attentive and her follow up was superb. When it was time for me to part ways with this location she helped me find another location near my new home and was able to help me take care of everything from her office! Her client relations skills are BEYOND amazing and I thank her a thousand times for all of her time.

It was a no-brainer when I went to find a place to storage my things after we moved from a 4-bedroom house to a 2-room apartment. I have been at Extra Space Storage in Newbury Park, CA for 8 years and have been totally satisfied. Patty and Danny have been very helpful and the customer service is excellent! I may need to downsize soon (to get rid of stuff that we dont need anymore) but I will stay with Patty and Danny because they do business right.

Recently I was in the market for a storage unit, I am disabled and have a very hard time getting around, Patty was kind and very helpful in trying to find a storage solution that would make it easy to access my things and insured I would get the assistance that I needed to move my things. She is an invaluable person I only wish that more people that I have come across were as compassionate and helpful as she is. Thank you for all your help Patty!

We had a storage unit at Hollywood Storage and although we liked the climate control and new facility, the price was high. When we missed a payment, they sent us a letter saying we needed to come in and pay the fine and payment within 2 weeks or they would dispose of our things. That was what sent us looking elsewhere. We have been pleased with Extra Space Storage. Clean facility,nice staff, and better price.

Extra Space in Newbury Park is the only place you want to store your stuff. Great prices, Tish at the front desk is awesome and helpful, and you will have no worries about the safety and security of your stuff. You get your own secret code to open the gate and everything is kept under watch by security cameras! Great experience and I always recommend people to go there for their storage needs...

She carefully explained and showed me several units, while I contemplated what I needed. The spaces were spotless, facility is super clean. I love that my stuff is safe behind gates.
