In the midst of moving, my husband and I were desperate to find a last minute storage place in Ventura County (more or less closer to Camarillio) being that my husband is in the Navy and I was to be relocating during his deployment. Between this place and Gold Coast storage, SoCal took the cake--BY FAR. Excellent staff, Efficient service, Exceptional prices! The manager, Eileen, was so flexible and informative and very willing to help military personnel with a timely fashion. This was our (my husband and I) first time ever using public storage, and Eileen was quick to inform us of her availability, invite us for a tour of the storage and location (the day that I called), and very thorough the entire time there. Any questions I had she had the answer for, I love knowledgeable services--it saves so much time. The location is in a very safe community, clean and easy to find (right off the 101). My five star rating is mainly due to Eileen professional work ethic, where many of the other storage locations/competitors had lacked. Her warm inviting character is what pulls in customers, followed by excellent service and exceptional prices. If you are looking to relocate (especially military personnel) you should only come here.

When I needed to downsize last summer, I found So Cal Self Storage right in the middle of town, competitively priced and they even had a big truck I could borrow for the move-in. Quite a different experience from when I rented a storage unit in Oxnard back in the late 1990s. It had cost almost the same, even back then - plus, I couldnt pay by credit card over the phone (I was on the road and had to mail my checks in.) The place was creaky and scary, sort of a fire trap, with no visible security. It was really depressing! This place is totally different than that - a "pro" operation. You can tell that they take storage seriously. The site is immaculate and well-protected. I feel welcome to drop by the office whenever Im at my unit. There is usually hot fresh coffee available, and cold bottled water. The manager, Eileen, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The office is kind of luxe - but there are also quirky little figurines and brochures on local activities. I feel like I didnt just rent a unit - I found a little nugget of community. I have referred several friends here in the past year.

When I was just starting to think customer service was dead in this industry, a bright smile changed my outlook. I had the pleasure of interacting with an employee, who was so outgoing and personable I felt compelled to write a review in which I never do. I believe her name was eileen, she helped me make my move fluid and effortless. The facility had boxes and all the moving supplies you can ask for. Also it was extremely clean as well which was an added bonus. So thank you so cal storage and thank you eileen for your courteous and professional service, setting industry standards across the board!!!!

4/23/09 I have been a customer at Adolfo Self Storage for over three years. I have looked at other storage options in the area but have found nothing more convenient or better run. Prices are fair for what you get and security has been upgraded recently. I had a minor complaint with the unit I was in and as soon as possible they moved me to another unit. They even offered to help move my equipment. I have never had a problem with access or with the entry / exit equipment. I’m sure if you choose Adolfo Self Storage you will be satisified. M. I just wanted to say that my wife and I kept our belongings at So-Cal storage for a couple of years and had a very positive experience. The staff are friendly and professional. The grounds and interior portions of the facility are kept clean and organized. We were able to use their truck to move our things which made the transition in and and out a breeze. Wonderful facility. Super clean and safe business area with low traffic. Staff is super helpful and the main reason of my 5 stars. Randall helped get me a spot and Eileen wrapped it all together for me and both were super helpful and accommodating and beyond nice to me. I sleep well at night knowing my boat is well protected and taken care of.

I have been to several storage facilities over the years with my motor home and these guys are just hands down the best i have found so far. Very friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful. The place is always neat and clean and the staff is always friendly. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Adolfo Self Storage was such an excellent facility. The storage units were secure and clean. The staff, especially Eileen, are extremely helpful, understanding and courteous. If you are in need of storage space, Adolfo should be the number one choice.
