I rented here for exactly a year. I had a 25 x 10 and downsized to a 10 x 10 during this time. I had a pretty smooth experience right up until near the end. This storage unit is in the middle of nowhere. This is good in some respects; it is cheaper than competitors and it is a $17 Uber to the airport if you are flying in and out like I was. Downsides include, no wifi for customers to use and mice are an issue in many units. Initially I did not set traps and mice came in off the fields and climbed over everything. I learned from my mistakes and set many traps (glue traps work very well). If you store food you deserve mice problems, but beware toiletries (keep them in sealed containers). Another issue is the access hours of 7am-7pm. Rush hour on Watt ave continues until after 6 so getting to your unit on a week day can be really tough. This facility has many rules. Read them carefully as they will be enforced mercilessly. The owner believes the customer is always wrong so do not give him any excuse to penalize you. If you are going to visit your storage unit outside office hours, I would ring in advance. This is because access is turned of without warning if you break one of the many rules. I lasted eleven months before losing access for breaking the 30 min loitering rule. I didnt realize that it was possible to loiter at your own storage unit that you have paid for, but it is at tiger storage. Even though I visited the office and let staff know that I was moving house and would be at my unit for longer than usual, I was locked out on my next visit without warning or a telephone call. When I asked about this I was told I broke the rules, It was all my fault and I should be grateful they had granted me access. Again, the customer is always wrong at Tiger. In hindsight, I had a good year using Tiger because I read the other bad reviews and prepared for the worst. They are competitive on cost and if you plan for the rodent problem things should go smoothly. Do not break any of their numerous rules, avoid the wrath of the manager and you will be fine. I met him once and he is truly unhinged. Ps. If you book online beware that they dont give you one of the crappy container units out back instead of the traditional purpose-built storage units. These container units have a step up into them so you cant roll items in as you would in a standard unit.

HORRIBLE PLACE! I rented a spot for my RV for over a year. I started to notice that every time I picked up the RV I had to fill it up with gas. So one day I came in late (after hours) and found a man filling up gas cans with fuel from under my RV. He had removed the tube from under the Rv and was draining it! I confronted him and got his license plate number and called the police and the manager of the facility. I told the manager that I was aware that they were able to track the access codes of who came into the facility and since it was after hours and he was theif was the only other guy in the place it wouldnt be brain science to figure out who he was. The manager informed me that the person who used the code "wasnt necessarily the person who stole the gas". I responded by saying that even if the person used someone elses code, that person had to have given them the code to use so they are equally responsible and why would the management would want to keep clients who stole from other clients anyway? The whole thing was absurd. He made me feel like I was the person in the wring and god knows how much money I had lost over the last year in gas, certainly several hundred dollars at a minimum. I was out of these within a week. The previous managers were great, they were a family and seemed to really care about us, these "New" managers dont give a rat about anything but the bottom line. I want you to know why I did not rent the truck I reserved from Tiger Self Storage. I arrived at noon to pick up my 10 truck only to find a 15 truck waiting. When we did the paperwork, the price was not $819 but nearly $1000. I asked if there would be a refund for the extra gas used in using a larger truck than the one I reserved and was told that Budget did not make any such refunds. When we went out to look at the truck, I saw that the sides were scraped and the logos marred - but the man doing the walkthrough would not write that down as he said it "didnt matter". The tires were clearly retreads and were coming loose at the sides. I commented on this and asked if road service would be available. The salesman said "No, its a piece of crap, I wouldnt rent from Budget if you paid me." The interior of the cab was filthy. I asked him to clean it before giving it to me, and he looked me straight in the eye and said "No." Clearly this Budget Truck rental location did not want my business, and I didnt want to rent from anyone with such poor equipment and attitude. I went to Penske. Mem Morman

I have been a customer of this storage facility for almost two years, and have been treated with courtesy and respect by the management and employees of this establishment. Ive had no experience with equipment rental (i.e. trucks or trailers), but the grounds are clean and taken care of, there is a full time family on site to watch over the place, and I have found that as long as you are civil and courteous they are not completely heartless when it comes to taking late payments. Your stuff will not disappear, and the late payments are only 20 bucks a week, which is really reasonable considering some places try to charge you a huge fee when you are late, to get their hands on your unit....boy, thats dirty in more ways than one....but I am sure you understand where I am coming from, if youve had a lot of experience with renting! It is a family that runs the business for the most part, and they are nice people. Give them a try. If you are a nice person or family looking for a safe place to put important things, this is a good place.

The nerve of the owner of this place! My girlfriend and I went and got something out of our storage and later received a phone call from the owner Brandon who left us a message threatening to charge us for a bench that he claims I broke when I moved it a whole 6 inches to turn on a faucet located by the front door. He said that if we didnt bring him another bench assembled and stained by the morning that he would be charging us for one. He went on to accuse me of planning to rob the place, saying that I was walking around looking for a way to get in. He said that he seen me on video going around looking for a way to gain access illegally. He threatened to turn the video over to the police if we didnt have his new bench there by morning. What the police will see on that video is me going behind a tree to take a piss and me moving his precious bench a whole 6 inches to wash my hands. This guy has issues. Time to find a different place to store our stuff. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS WACKO.
