USA FITNESS CENTER will not provide business ownership information. I have also complained to the Better Business Bureau about USA FITNESS CENTER failing to stop charging my account. USA FITNESS CENTERs actions are maliciously intended to harm my credit. They continue to charge my bank account and when I call USA FITNESS CENTER they claim not to have record of my account. I signed up for a membership in January 2011, and since July 2011 have moved seventy miles away. I have tried to cancel my membership but the staff refuses to accept my evidence, until I went to the DMV and got a print out with my address. I have not gone to USA FITNESS CENTER since July 2011, and they are still charging me every month. the Manager and staff at USA Fitness North Hill, have given me a hard time each time I drove to USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills to cancel my membership . They will not cancel my membership according to the membership agreement. Before I moved I stopped attending because I suspected my feelings of illness may have been a result of repeated use of their steam sauna, which the custodian would spray a chemical from a spray cleaning bottle. I never complained about the black mold-like biological growth visible on the walls in the locker room or the stench from the wet carpet caused by poor ventilation at USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills. I also never complained about the homeless people who would come in daily to take showers walking into the shower area with their dirty shoes that smelled like dog feces. I never would take a shower at USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills, if I did not bring a pair of slippers because your feet will blister and rash and will itch the next day. I also never complained about the hostile environment the custodian who would always make me feel like I was not welcome. If I used the steam sauna, he would come in and spray a chemical in the air. This happened every time I went to USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills. I have for the last five months tried to cancel my membership. But the staff at Fitness USA FITNESS CENTER Hills refuse to cancel my membership and charge my ATM/debit every month $35.00 +$15 fee. (They advertise everywhere $19.99/mo.) I have driven to the location three times, every time I am charged, but they refuse to cancel my membership. I am told "membership isnt based upon usage. I do not use the USA Fitness gym membership because I live too far away. I have not used the gym in over nine months. Because USA FITNESS CENTER refuses to cancel my 1 year membership, I have complained to the Better Business Bureau, because they continue to charge my bank account. The District manager of USA FITNESS CENTER refuses to cancel the membership and said it would be easier to close my bank account. I will never do business with USA FITNESS CENTER. I have made numerous attempts to satisfy their requirements to cancel my USA FITNESS CENTER 1 year membership. It is unfortunate that Ive had to waste my time and money with such a trivial matter, that the staff at USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills, could easily have been resolved months ago. It is now March 31, 2012 and I am still being charged by USA FITNESS CENTER at least three times a month. When I call USA FITNESS CENTER they claim to not have record of my account. The manager asked I remove my online reviews or USA FITNESS CENTER will continue to charge me for membership maliciously ruining my credit with charges I do not owe them. I incur $105 in monthly bank charges, since I cannot put money into the account, since USA FITNESS CENTER stated they will continue to charge me or to just close my bank account. I completely regret doing business with USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills. Do not sign up for a membership with USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills, you will regret it. There are other gyms that will provide better customer service. USA FITNESS CENTER North Hills is definitely the worst gym membership experience Ive ever had.

Pros: - Do not let the location fool you. This gym is awesome. - At times, they offer free 1 month membership coupons, no questions asked. - There is always a cleaning person walking around, making sure that everything is clean. - Everything about the locker rooms, from the showers, to the jacuzzi, to the steam room, to the sauna, to the toilets, are all clean. A cleaning person stops by every 15 minutes or so to check and make sure that the locker rooms are clean. - No need to bring a padlock. The lockers are electronic. - The jacuzzi is cleaned out everyday. - The aerobics room has springs beneath the floor to minimize strain; this room is also clean. you may also request to have the AC turned on in this room. - Staff are very very very attentive and helpful. - I usually use the elliptical trainer near the reception area. I have never seen anyone who came in to look around or inquire get harrassed or forced into any sort of sales questions. - Free session with a personal trainer upon sign up. - All new equipment; cardio machines have TV!! - A lot of parking Cons: - Theyll require you to have a one year contract (if you do not get a prepaid annual membership; not really a con, but thought Id say) - Parking does get crowded on busy days, people who park in the back lot NEED TO LEARN how to park properly. - Does get crowded on weekday nights, but does thin out around 8pm onwards. Not a deal breaker. - Aerobic/zumba classes charge like $2 a head. Not a deal breaker imho really. - Like all gyms, no quality of gym will make you lose weight. Its your patience, discipline, and determination that will.

Granted, this is a preliminary, day one review of a tour and membership negotiation, but Ive been a member of other gyms and have been underwhelmed at best. Limitations, early termination fees, uncleanliness, etc. turned my enthusiasm sour with the others. I spoke with Jonathan who was polite, patient, and generous in creating our very reasonably priced contractual agreement (everything is negotiable). I paid in full for the best deal. The gym is in the ex-Post Office building on Sepulveda Blvd. in North Hills. I was in at about 3:30pm on a Thursday, it was not crowded, and had plenty of parking front and in the back of the building. The machines are brand new and modern (the elipse machines and treadmills have DirecTV video screens to watch while exercising -bring your own headohones-), clean, and tidy. The machines were sparsely engaged, and the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and showers were empty! I was told that some days are busier than others, so I take that under advisement to avoid the heavy use times. New members receive a no-cost one hour session with a personal trainer and a free 10 minute massage (a new service being offered). Also upcoming Im told, is valet parking (on busy days I assume). All in all Im happy with the deal and the layout of the facility. More after a few workouts, steam, jacuzzi and sauna!

25 de enero a las 21:15 USA fitness en Sylmar tambien son rateros Yo también tuve una experiencia fatal ,, cuando yo me inscrivi me dijieron que podia canselar cuando quisiera y a la hora que quise cancelar me dijieron que no podia que era contrato y les dije que nunca me dijieron y me contestaron que apoco no me fijaba lo que firmaba y me sacaban el pago del banco asta dos veses al mes y cansele mi cuenta del banco. ..cuando quise hacer el pago en el gym me cobraban $10 dolares mas por hacer el pago alli..$30 de mi menbresia y $10 por hacer el pago alli tenia que pagar $40 al mes ...ya no e buelto a tratar de pagar por rateros.
