The gym itself is great and the Trainer here who trained me was the BEST! What I am very disappointed about is the fact that I am moving away to Texas where there is no TOTAL WOMAN GYM therefore I went in the week I found out I was leaving. I asked to speak to the MANAGER to cancel my member ship. They brought in the manager who was there for the day I guess? I told her the reason why I was cancelling my membership and I asked her I would not be able to come work out at all after the day I cancelled my membership so I needed her to cancel my membership on the spot and not charge me for the month I was told I had to pay. She told me not to worry because I wouldnt be billed!!!! I check my bank account and what do I see? I GOT BILLED AFTER BEING TOLD I WOULDNT BE BILLED BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO ABLE TO COME TO THIS GYM BECAUSE I WAS MOVING AWAY!!!! I called and asked to speak to the manager once I saw I was billed, yes they had the "MAIN" manager talk to me on the phone and i told her the reason i cancelled my membership therefore they didnt have to charge me. Well this is what she told me! "We had to charge you because you did not come 15 days before your monthly payment was due" I told her the reason I cancelled once again and see if maybe she was able to reimburse me my money as I was moving away to TEXAS and wasnt able to attend at all for the month they charged me for and she said "NO" it was too late? She said I had to talk to her about my situation and maybe she was able to not have my card billed.! HOW THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSE TO KNOW I HAD TALKED TO YOU ABOUT THIS WHEN NONE OF YOUR FRONT DESK GIRLS EVEN THE MANAGER WHO I HAD TOLD MY SITUATION TOLD ME I HAD TO SPEAK TO YOU ABOUT IT? This is the dumbest most ignorant manager ever. They stole my money even though I had told them i was not going to live here anymore! But they never mentioned anything about being charged even after cancelling my membership! I advise anybody that is planning to attend this gym to check everything before signing up as they will take your money without you even attending this gym. BAD SERVICE HERE!! I will be contacting my bank and letting them know I did not authorize this payment to get my money reimburse.! This is a great gym but the manager and workers in the front are very young and dumb. This situation about being charged not even the monthly $45 but $60 is insane. I advise any girl interested to not SIGN UP to a gym where they dont even explain how many days prior you have to have to cancel a membership because you are moving away to a place where this gym isnt even known.! I hope to not have to deal with such ignorant managers who do not help you at all after talking to one of the "MANAGERS" about your situation.

Aweful experience, TERRIBLE management and nasty gym, BIG MISTAKE!!!! Wow, where do I start?? Well for one, there are no change rooms and the restrooms smell like the sewers. I have 2 very young children..the girls at the kids club had to call me every 5 min bc they cant take care of lil ones not to mention the camera feed on the machines doesnt work on 3 out of 5 treadmills. fitness instructor never showed up or called to cancel even though it was supposedly a good time for her (terrible for me, it was at 5 when my hubby comes back from work and i live in simi, so it takes me 30 min to get there..). Samantha at the front is SUPER rude, she tried to turn me away on my 1st day at the gym bc i never called in b4 coming to reserve kids club, although I was never instructed to do so and there was not ONE kid in there..I ended up staying for 20 minutes that day and no other children showed up. Janet the GM is SUPER unprofessional, if you ever need to speak with her, shes in "meetings" too busy trying to get girls to sign up at her nasty gym...I left her over 10 msgs over the span of 3 weeks and never heard back from her. In fact the last day I attempted to speak with her ( b4 ive had it with her and her team and ended up speaking with corporate), samantha picked up my call, told me that janet was right in front of her but wouldnt pass her the phone..she put me on hold for about 30 minutes b4 I hung up. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! go to woodland hills location, the 5-10 minute drive is worth it. I love total woman, but this branch is AWEFUL!!!!!!!!

I been going to this branch for a few years: Good things: Pretty much is kept clean, you have sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room, classes are average I do not really go because of classes. I get for 100 bucks 2 services a month. Bad things: If you go to Woodland Hills, Westlake Village, Glendale, bathrooms are in a different scale, whomever is the owner thinks is ok doors for showers are made of the most cheap material they have 4, spinning bikes are ooooold, treadmills, and all of the equipment for cardio is way old and outdated compare please to the other gyms, again is like the owner said people around this area do not deserve better although we pay the same

I signed up for a personal trainer and within 2 months my trainer was switched 3 times. The last one canceled our session the very last minute several times and didnt show up twice at all. I had to cancel once and they still charged me! Even though I called hours ahead and was at the hospital with a kidney stone! Then my 3rd trainer quit as well and they never gave me another trainer or refunded me for the already paid session. I called and wrote corporate about this, but they just kept on blowing me off. Oh, and the owner is an old douchebag who struts around like a rooster and is very self important, Never again!

I went there to get a massage. Its nice place. People were helpful. Room was nice.Once I prepared myself for the massage the therapist and a lady (maybe the owner) came to ask where my trouble spots were. I pointed them out. Then they said that for an extra $25, they can really work on those areas. I agreed. All in all the therapist didnt spend any extra time working on my trouble areas. She was average. $75 total for that massage was totally not worth it. I go for Thai massages for $40 sometimes and they are just as good. I dont think I will go there again.

I love Total Woman Gym! My family has been coming here for years. Its a great place where you can feel comfortable while you work out. Its always in good repair, and I never have to wait long for the machines or weights I want. They also offer spa services, which are amazing! I have yet to do the personal training program, but Im definitely interested. The child care is affordable and really nice - my son LOVES to go and keeps asking to go to the gym! Highly recommended!
