My grandsons have been attending Power Kids for several months, and have enjoyed it tremendously. However, recently there was an altercation with 2 other boys and my grandson. (nothing is ever 100% one persons fault).One of the owners only had time to talk to my daughter over the phone, and not in person, to discuss the situation. As a child with a disability that is not obvious, I was disappointed that no provision or plan was even in the discussion for further participation. He was kicked out immediately. As an employee of a local school district who works with special needs students of all kinds, I am disappointed to see this type of discrimination. I would hope that in the future the owners of Power Kids would have some compassion and be willing to make provisions for children with disabilities.
