After contacting Bonney to inquire of a renewal of the BAM program which expired less than a month earlier, I also said we will subsequently need to have a pilot light repair. My disabled mother would be he only one home so they sent Corey. Corey told her that it was more than likely the pilot assembly needed replacement. He just so happened to have the part, (retails at Home Depot for $45.00 for the complete kit) He then told her that since we were renewing the BAM program that we would be given a discount reduced to $45.00 for the service call. She thought based upon his statements, that we would be paying approximately $99.00 for the BAM renewal, and $45.00 for the Service Call, and whatever the cost of labor and materials would be to install the pilot assembly. Needless to say she was completely caught off guard when the total bill came to $447.00. A $45.00 "user serviceable" part, with our "BAM discount" cost, $338.00 to install. From my experience, it takes about :45, to an hour to put the kit together and replace. He told her he had one already in his truck, inferring it just needed to be installed. When I gathered all the information I made contact immediately the following day to voice my concerns, and the receptionist, (name withheld) took information and said someone would contact me later in the day. The following day, (day#2), having heard nothing, I called and asked for the Plumbing Service manager, he was unavailable, so I left him a voicemail, repeating my concerns and said I wanted to cancel the BAM program, and I wanted some form of reimbursement for the excessive charges, all within a 72 hour time period. I have no doubt , that Bonney Plumbing and heating ( in this particular encounter), took advantage of a disabled Senior Citizen, and has delayed ANY contact with this customer, in hopes we will drop it, or go beyond the 3 day clause for cancelling the Service. This is unacceptable, and based upon the Better Business Bureaus series of complaints with Bonney, it seems to be a trend or operating style which needs to be addressed, one way or another. Is it took 4 days to get any type of response on the fourth day I did get a response from the sales manager we came to a resolution but did inform him that it is very important to contact people especially seniors as soon as possible otherwise they start to think like this review previously stated I know change mine to a three and a half

Thank you Bonney and tech, LUPE ESPINOZA, for a job well done. After experiencing a tub drip/dribble in my 60+ year old house for over a year, I finally decided it was time to fix the problem. At the same time, I began having drainage problems in the kitchen as well as needing to replace some old pipe in the kitchen. Lupe diagnosed the drainage problem and created a plan to rebuild the "pre-war" parts in the tub to resolve the drip. His dedication to the project was amazing, even when there were two trips needed to the parts place to find the necessary old parts. In addition to the clog located just beyond the kitchen sink that was cleared, he also found some blockages in the main drain that he suspected might be a City problem. Although Lupes day started at my place at 10am, he stuck around until 7:30 pm to wait out City workers and discuss the problem with them. I really appreciated his willingness to do that instead of leaving me to try and "talk technical" with City employees -- definitely not my forte. These and a few other little extras thrown in were well worth the price I paid for the job. The quotes were fair from the start and didnt later change "due to unexpected circumstances". Warm and personable, it was a delight to chat with Lupe as he worked. Hes very easy to talk to, gives full explainations of work to be done and alternatives, and always has a few good stories to share along the way. Im glad hes "assigned" to my place should have have any futher plumbing issues. Lupe gets a full ***** 5 STARS *****. My only reason for the overall 4 star rating is due to the scheduling of the job. Athough this wasnt an emergency, I am a BAM member and part of that includes "priority scheduling"; it was a full week and a half from the time I called to the time Lupe could come address my issues. That amount of time to wait just doesnt seem to match up to a "priority scheduling" definition. I would definitely recommend Bonney to others.

Mr. Clinton Rasmussen was an excellent Plumber Service Technician! I rate him 5 full stars for his diligence, excellent work, knowledge and skill. Bonny Plumbing should only hire such excellent technicians and I highly recommend him and this company. As part of the BAM plan (which I highly recommend to begin with), he fixed a clogged sink, removed calcium deposits on 5 sinks, checked all flushes, faucets and pipes. Im not sure if fixing a clog was part of the BAM maintenance but I was very happy that he did do it. Saved me so much time and trouble, Im very grateful. What started out to be a routine maintenance check resulted in him pointing out some serious issues that would have cost me hundreds of not thousands of dollars down the road. He replaced a thermal expansion tank on my water heater that was broken. Water leaked past the safety valve so it was a disaster waiting to happen. This was a huge safety risk that I was living with completely oblivious of his presence. Getting it off was not a simple task of using a wrench. He had to use a blow torch to expand the metal connectors so that it would release. Then he used a special tool to re-thread the connector before installing the new part straight out of a sealed box. He took time to show me why it needed replacement, indicated what a new tank would fix and prevent and even showed me the difference post-install. The next thing he replaced was a dishwasher plastic hose/pipe. What seemed like a simple replacement was actually very complicated. The location of the pipe was under the entire dishwasher and the whole unit had to be brought out to just get to the junction point. I definitely wouldnt have been able to have done this myself. I am a noob, yes, but with instruction I can do things... however I would have not been able to do any of this myself. I highly recommend Mr Clinton Rasmussen (Clinton R.) and Bonney Plumbing. Thanks!

I had a clogged sewer and all drains in the house were backed up including the toilets and the showers. Called Bonney and they could not make it out until sometime between noon and 4:00 PM. Being as impatient as I am I called a competitor who came out within the hour. The competitor poked around in the yard looking for a sewer access port and said he thought he had found it but he was wrong. He said he would have to get someone out with a camera and they could find the access port for a nominal fee of $450 (Just to find the access port) and then they would have to let me know how much to fix the clog!!! I told him to go away and I waited for the Bonney plumbing guys to show up. Dustin showed up after calling me to give me an exact time that he would be there. He had the camera with him and located the access port within minutes (at no charge). He then explained that he had located the trouble spot and would fix it for a fraction of the cost of the other guy. Minutes later everything was running freely and the clog was gone. Dustin explained that the access port was made of iron and had corroded and that it was catching debris which caused the blockage. He said that he could clear the blockage and things should be fine but it could clog up again. Repeated problems might indicate the need to replace the access point with an ABS plastic one that would not clog. The problem was cleared and we have been fine for over a week now. Drains are running freely and we are happy. If we have further problems we wont hesitate to call Bonney Plumbing again. There is still a hole in the ground where the other guy dug while trying to find the access port. It was only inches away from the actual location of the access port. (close but no cigar!!!) Thanks Dustin H.
