As a long time customer with The Trenchless Company, and as an owner of large apartment complexes and various commercial and residential rental properties, I can say that my first and only choice for all my plumbing needs is The Trenchless Company. The company founder, Max Greenberg, is a hands-on and meticulous owner who understands and exceeds the requirements and requests of his clients. The first project that Mr. Greenbergs company performed for me was a septic to sewer system conversion on a 54 unit apartment complex in Fair Oaks, CA. The project involved both open trench digging, and a large amount of underground pipe boring which spared large areas of mature landscaping in the complex from having to undergo open trench digging. Underground pipe boring really is as good as advertised, and very few companies in this region have the capability to do it. The Trenchless Company is a pioneer and leader in the field of underground pipe boring, indeed it is their area of expertise. It was a large and complex project that very few companies in this region could perform, The Trenchless Company is one of those elite companies. Apart from the septic to sewer conversion project, The Trenchless Company has also performed routine unclogging of sewer and drain pipes, replacement of damaged water lines, replacement of damaged sewer and drain lines, as well as recently performing underground boring for a new sewer line on a Victorian home in San Francisco, CA. I have had The Trenchless Company perform both, big and small, as well as complicated and simple tasks, all without a single problem and at VERY competitive prices. I highly recommend The Trenchless Company for any and all sewer, water, and drain line needs. I have come to know and trust their quality workmanship and quality customer service, led by the companys friendly and extremely knowledgeable founder/owner, Mr. Max Greenberg. This is a family owned and operated company, and it shows!

Do not use these people. Here is my story. I called in the morning and they said they would send a plumber out between the hours of 2 pm to 4 pm. At 5 pm the plumber arrives and finds the issue and needs to have authorization from my house owner before fixing the toilet. Ok fine. My owner isnt reachable at the start so the plumber has to go and will come back later. 3 hours later my owner tries to call the plumber and texts me that she authorizes the payment. So I call the plumber to have him come back and explain the text from my landlord has the authorization (literally it is the phone number from the one they have on file of where the owner is from). They say no problem. But then 45 minutes later I get a call back that tells me the manager has recalled the plumber because they want a VERBAL confirmation and a text message from the owner of the house is insufficient. What? I mean seriously, what century are we living in? I ask, why is their any difference? Response: "It is in our policies." Can I talk to the manager? My manager isnt in tonight Ok, can you email me your policies? I can send it to you tomorrow Ok what? Are you just making this up then? How can you quote me policies that you dont know where they are? Can we schedule you for tomorrow? No...No thanks dont bother coming. Thanks. I mean seriously, how can they literally not render service when 1) I have the authorization to pay for 2) WILL in face pay for 3) Have credible proof of authorization. Dont use these folks. They are inflexible and a time sink even when you are going to pay and will just flat out make up reasons why they cant provide you service.

I discovered a hot water slab leak the day on Christmas Eve. I called multiple companies on Monday, The Trenchless Co called, and I explained what was occurring. My tiles were hot in my bathroom floor, indicating a hot water leak. The plumber that came out was great, but indicated that they need to have a 3rd party leak specialist come out. The plumber called the dispatcher who called the 3rd party, who didnt answer. The dispatcher stated that they will call me when 3rd party called them back. I didnt receive a call that afternoon from Trenchless, so I called them in the morning. They told me that the 3rd party had not called them back, and that was the only company they use for leak detection. I had to get the leak fix, so I started looking online, and found Bonnie Plumbing. Bonnie had a leak specialist within their company, and schedule them to help me. Plz see the Bonnie Plumbing review. I called and asked for a manager at Trenchless to communicate how unhappy I was about their service. He was unavailable... so I left a message. After the Trenchless plumber validated that I do have a leak on Monday, it was 3 days later to schedule a leak specialist... gallons of water loss, and my tiles were getting hotter. I was not sure what damage was occurring during that time frame they left me stranded. As expected, and right on course with my terrible experience with this company.... He never called me back. I do not recommend this company, if you decide to go with this company, be prepared to be left stranded and you also may need to find another company to help you... I recommend Bonnie Plumbing.

I doubt that anyone calls you without being somewhat panic stricken. A serious problem has occurred in the life of your caller and all we want to know is that you will fix it and fix it FAST. Well, that is what I got from your company today. I ended up talking to three different people from your office, all for good reason, and every one of them was cheerful, helpful and genuinely concerned about my problem. What a refreshing encounter at such a desperate moment. Your people scheduled me for a same-day service and even called me forty-five minutes ahead of the appointment so I could leave my office to meet the technician without missing a full or half day of work. I love it!!! When I got home and met the technician, Steve Hendry, I discovered another very positive element about your company. Steve was so professional, well dressed, literate, extremely polite, plus obviously exceptionally trained and capable. He took the time to explain my situation and how The Trenchless Company could solve my problems. He outlined the costs very clearly and even educated me on how to understand the complexities of my plumbing problems in the future. You have a marvelous employee in Steve. He was the perfect person to take care of my problem, both technically and also with excellent customer service. Steve and your home office staff turned my disastrous day into a dream come true. Thank you so very much!! The Trenchless Company will forever be my "go-to" plumbing resource!! Ann in El Macero CA

I called late in the morning after 2 days of run-arounds from reccomendations of plumbers from friends and friends of friends. My problem was not a major issue on day 1, however by the time I called Trenchless it had obviously gotten worse for going unchecked. I was told that they could have a tech at my house between 3-5 pm whereas I was told by other companies that I would have to wait another day. I was also informed that should a tech free up sooner, they would be happy to show up ahead of schedule if that was ok with me. Obviously, the sooner the better when you cant use any of the toilets in your house! Brendan showed up at about 1 pm and quickly got to work. He explained every step of the process and was very friendly through the entire process. He chuckled through the standard "poop" humor even though I am sure in this line of work he has heard it all before. While some folks may not agree, I think that when you call a person to your house to clean up your "mess", it is gross and somewhat personal. Brendan was professional and polite. My experience with The Trenchless Co. was as positive as I could expect from any professional company that could be called to my house in what I saw as an emergency situation. The price was incredible for the work performed and while I was given an estimate for a more permanent fix, I was not given pushy, hard-sell for something I did not need yet. If I ever have any other plumbing issues The Trenchless Co. will be my first call.
