Located in the heart of Riveria Village, this quaint spot unfortunately did not deliver. Ordered THE HOLLANDAISE ($12) and iced HONEY VANILLA LATTE ($4.30). I actually loved the concept of the Hollandaise with the ham wrapped within the sweet crepe and two over easy eggs on top drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Great concept, but the star ingredient (hollandaise) was lacking in seasoning and watered down. The crepe on the plus side was nice and savory. The Vanilla Latte tasted just okay with an overpowering syrupy taste. The location is absolutely darling and I enjoyed the garden ambience with the patio. As you enter, you order ahead of time and then can seat anywhere. The service was subpar and the staff seemed less friendly than other local spots. Maybe just a case of the Mondays. The ambience here is lovely, just need to elevate their food.

Theres plenty of metered street parking outside. Inside the Yellow Vase has a cute French bistro type of vibe. Walls are colored yellow (no surprise there) and theres plenty of cute decor in the place. I was there for breakfast and had a California Omelet. The omelet was accompanied with potatoes, salad and 3 slices of a baguette. The salad was greens with a vinaigrette. The omelet was tasty. The proportions were big and didnt have space for many of the great looking breads, cookies and other treats they have in a display. The coffee had a bold strong taste. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely go again.

So unprofessional! Sad because the food is great but no worth it. I called at 7:24 am today to make an order for pick up and was told by the busboy that he couldnt help me because the cashier wasnt there. The posted hours are 7-7 so they were very late. I continues to call until 8:15 with no answer. Walked in and the young lady "said yea i just got here." No Im sorry you had a hard time or we were running late. Just rude!!! I would no recommend this place to anyone if you care about being treated with respect. Also dont post hours you are no open.

Place was better when it was located next to Trader Joes. Service has really gone down to the point that I dont go anymore. The food is okay, but the service is so rude now that it ruins my digestion. Anywho, people in Southbay know if they want french food in the form of sandwiches and desserts they go to LAmande Bakery. I have a feeling the owners are gonna run out of money soon. The place does look expensive.

We are from AZ, wanted a local place for breakfast. Very cute, helpful staff, delicious baked goods. Couple complaints as to their attention to detail - two spoons we got had dried up food still on them and the croissant I got was rather hard. A little pricey but its near the beach and all quaint and such so it makes sense.

Its a beautiful cafe. Food is great, and I also like their cup cakes! Their icing is different. Not too sweet and creamy and full flavored. But they dont have a lot of tables and dont feel comfortable lingering for a long time..

Love this place for breakfast. Coffee and food is great in or out. Can get crowded but we have never failed to find a seat after ordering. Outside seating is very nice and it is very quiet on the side.
