Finding Alex and his shop was definitely the best part of my entire ordeal. Best body shop Ive ever been to! I got rear ended and within an hour, I yelped and found this place. I took my car in without any notice and Alex inspected it right then and there. He was pretty thorough for such a quick inspection and took my car in no problem. I didnt have any trouble with my insurance either because the cost of the repair was very reasonable in comparison to other places. He even helped me to sort out my entire insurance situation, offering me advice! Reasons why you should pick this place over other places: 1. Reasonable prices (seriously) 2. AWESOME SERVICE - i wrote in caps because his service is outstanding. I got emails regarding updates on my car with pictures attached. I never felt blind throughout this entire thing. He was very patient and understanding. He is the best friend you need throughout this entire process. seriously awesome service. 3. Quality work - My car looked just as good as new and seeing it now compared to before really I was amazed. He also ordered all my parts straight from Honda (my car is a honda cr-v) so he didnt use parts that didnt come from the manufacturer. He also finished it in a timely manner :) which i appreciated because my rental policy sucks. Overall, my experience here was wonderful. Alex was honest, friendly, and professional. I never had such a transparent process to my car repairs and now that I have, I cant really go anywhere else. I recommend this body shop to anyone in need of a fix!

My car mechanic (Toyota dealer) recommended i speak with Alex of Redwood City Auto Body for a broken window. First impression, kind of dubious but after taking all my cars there over the last couple years I can say he is the best body shop i have worked with (period). Not only does Alex know how to treat his customers well, his crews work is impeccable and as others said, my cars come back looking better than before. He tries very hard to make you aware that he is willing to go above & beyond expectation-took some getting use to in this day and age. All my projects with him were on time and very reasonably priced. Without hesitation i will go back and refer my friends to him. [Ive always been dubious about these glowing reviews but in this case, you have to experience it to realize why he is getting so many 5stars here and elsewhere and in my case over a stretch of time.] Alex, Keep up the good work and the word will spread and hopefully your good fortune, too.

Excellent service for an excellent price! Very pleased with car detailing by Alex & his team. I took my 2010 Mustang Convertible to Burning Man this year and needless to say, the desert clay dust was everywhere! Alex agreed to fully detail the car inside and outside at an extremely attractive rate, and at least $100 to $75 below other detailers in the area. I am a terribly picky customer and must admit that I was so pleased with the thoroughness of the job that I tried to add a tip to the fee, and Alex wouldnt accept it! Alex and his team are honest, hardworking, available and extremely reliable. It is hard to find honesty and integrity that is reflected in the job done. I would highly recommend Redwood City Auto Body for Auto Detail Service at the best price.

Excellent work and service at a fair price. Redwood City Auto Body recently refreshed the paint and clearcoat on my pickup, as well as removing a few minor dents. Im very pleased with the results and the service that I received. After calling multiple paint/body shops in San Carlos, Redwood City and San Mateo, I chose Redwood City Auto Body because of their very positive Yelp reviews and their very competitive price. Alex, the owner, answered all of my questions, kept me informed throughout the process (including sending me pics of my truck at various stages during the restoration), and kept his word in meeting a very aggressive schedule for completing the work. I recommend this shop without hesitation.

Best all-around body shop I have ever used! If other small American businesses ran like Alex runs Redwood City Auto Body shop, we wouldnt be in a recession. I have a car that needed the rear right fender repainted. Alex explained to me step-by-step what he was going to do and explained how other body shops can cut corners at various points in the process, but that he didnt work that way. Nonetheless, his price was very competitive. Most important, his service is way over the top. Hes extremely friendly and courteous and even dropped the car off at my house when the work was finished. Ive already decided to take another of my cars to him for a minor job.

Really awesome (seemingly) family owned shop. I came in as a sorry excuse for a mechanical engineer, not knowing how to change my burnt out headlight. Theyre open early so I stopped by before work which is a great perk. When I got there, an employee checked out my headlight for about 10 minutes, testing it and giving it a few good flicks. He let me know that the bulb wasnt burnt out; the filament was misaligned. He dug through the scrap pile to find me a new light but couldnt find one that wasnt broken. So, he directed me to a nearby OReillys, gave me some instructions, and sent me on my way, free of charge. Great service, honest people!

HONEST - FAST - PROFESIONAL - TRANSPARENT I have no idea about cars or how car insurance payments work. Alex was very nice and patient and he explained everything to me. I did not understand an specific thing and he made sure I had everything clear before I left. He was very honest and transparent since the beginning. I really appreciate his time and how he treated me. He was also always available to talk to me on the phone. The rest of the team is also great. He has many people working for him! The place was packed! but he still made all the repares even before the estimate date. The service on this auto bodyshop is OUTSTANDING.

Outstanding Service! Alex is the best, his attention to detail was spot on. The service I received exceeded my expectation and you do get way more than you pay for. I was also kept informed throughout the repairs by being sent emailed pic of each process. Added perk... cleaned my engine which blew me away, looks brand new again. If I could rate them 6 stars, I would. This is hands down the best shop Ive ever been to. Alex is very honest, helpful, and does extremely high quality work. Im very picky about my car and when I got it back, everything about it was perfect. If I ever needed body work in the future, I will take it to Redwood City Auto Body.
