Nobody Cares
Fellow employees/techs are great to work with and get the job done. They genuinely care about the shop and its customers. Lets start with the management. Oh wait, is that even in Abras vocabulary, management? The manager at this location is a complete waste of salary. Hes late to show up at work everyday (if he even shows up at all) and leaves everybody wondering where he is, including the DM. Hes the first one to leave around 4 or 4:30 even though were open until 5:30. He was gone for over a month doing community service. More recently was arrested in front of the shop and continues to still have a job. If myself or any other employee had to do that, they would have been fired. He literally doesnt lift a finger to help anyone at any time even when the shop numbers are failing drastically. New hires that need to be trained, he just has his hard working employees do the training even though they dont have time and the manager has all the time in the world. Hes always preaching, "ask me for help if you need it". But when you ask him for help, he just shrugs his shoulders and says: "I dont know, look for the answer online or go ask someone else" and only wants to collect a paycheck by saying hes a "glorified babysitter". He never leaves his office except to get food which probably explains his bad health & size and literally, LITERALLY sits in his chair and plays on his phone (candy crush, facebook, YouTube) all day and complains when the shop numbers are low. I do admit he is good at one thing. That one thing hes good at is sending out mass B.S. motivational emails to the employees and CCing upper management so upper management will think hes doing his job. I am sick and tired of the manager practically getting away with murder and nobody higher up will listen to us employees when we reach out to let them know why the shop is failing. The manager limits the amount of cars that come in so its not overly stressful for him at month end when he has to close files. He even closes files on cars that are still getting worked on at the shop to help make the numbers look better than they truly are. All of the body techs and other employees either come to myself for information and advice since they gave up on asking the manager for help. In a last effort to save his butt because the numbers are so bad and to make himself look better, he fired some great long term employees in hopes to shift the blame. The manager has let go of some hard working people all because they made him look bad since he cant do his own damn job and expects others to do it for him. Management will repeatedly lie to you and tell you all about the amazing bonuses & promotions, filling your head with empty promises. They will continue to get your hopes up while your family is at home awaiting for your promotion. I honestly believe you have to be a part of a frat and have your fellow drinking buddys within this company to get promoted. Ive been in this business for over 20 years and this is by far the worst place I have ever worked for. ADVICE TO UPPER MANAGEMENT, Listen to your employees when theyre genuinely concerned about the shop and its numbers. When they reach out to you, dont brush everything under the rug and go straight to the manager at the shop instead, when he is the last one to care about anything but himself. Your business practice is a joke and you should be ashamed of keeping certain managers employed. You should listen to the employees/body techs and not just the manager. Of course the manager is going to make up lies to make himself look better..

My vehicle was nearly totaled and the insurance co. wanted it fixed. GW was recommended to me and after some research I had the Subaru towed there. Nearly $18,000 in repairs were made and GW made it painless for me. This business knows and practices customer service like very few companies do (large or small). Jill and Brian are the best. Theyll explain everything if you request and use their experience and knowledge to give you the best product/service while you deal with a very difficult time. Kudos to this place. I just hope I do not have to return due to another accident!

I had been doing business with GW for 20+ years. Now that Abra has taken over, customer service has fallen short. I took my vehicle in twice in the same week for an estimate. The second time, Robert took photos and assured me that he would have it done the following day. 2 days later I went in to see why no estimate. He said it would be done by the end of the day. More than a week later, still no estimate. My insurance agent emailed me to say that when he contacted Abra, they claimed I hadnt brought the car in for the estimate. I hate being jerked around !!

Ive had to have body work on my car several times over the past few months, unfortunately. Dealing with other peoples insurance companies is stressful, but ABRA is fantastic. Theyve always taken care of everything for me and made the process as easy as it can be. Ill continue to go back and to recommend them.
