ILLEGAL BILLING for unauthorized work: I had no prior experience with ABRA, but my vehicle was towed to ABRA by my insurance after a theft recovery. My battery and alternator had been stolen, and ABRA replaced these. I picked up my vehicle on 4/4. My vehicle was towed back to ABRA on 4/13 due to an unsound repair which left my vehicle unfit to drive. It was my expectation, although not explicitly stated, that the only work to be performed would be a repair of the unsound work (inadequate alternator installation resulted in settling of the alternator and a belt that became too loose to drive). However, ABRA performed additional work, at additional charge, on my vehicle that was not authorized by me. 1) 4 Wheel Alignment, $112.95 ABRA indicated that a wheel alignment is standard for a theft vehicle. If correct, then ABRA failed to perform this service when my vehicle was delivered to them as a theft vehicle on 4/2. When my vehicle was delivered to them on 4/13 it was delivered for the purpose of correcting an unsound repair. I have no basis of experience to suggest that I should want them to perform any additional work on my car, and I authorized no such work. Additionally, the wheel alignment was unnecessary as I had 4 new tires installed and a wheel alignment performed on 4/4, the same day that I initially picked up my vehicle from ABRA. To this date ABRA has not provided me with the alignment results (as-found and corrected) of the alignment for which my insurance was charged. The general manager, Elijah Cole, emailed me a document with a blank page and indicated that, “This is a very light print out that is included in the scan but may not be viewable. ” Due to the wasted time of several failed requests I have asked all further correspondence to proceed through my insurance. I have not received a legible copy to this date. 2) Safety inspection + 25%, $112.44 It is not clear to me why a safety inspection was performed following repair of their unsound work. If this is standard procedure for a theft vehicle that was not performed when my vehicle was delivered to them as a theft vehicle, then this is another ABRA failure. Again, I have no reason that I should want additional work performed on my car by ABRA and I did not authorize this additional work. Based on my experience with ABRA I am not confident in ABRA’s performance and I have personally scheduled an independent review of my vehicle by my own long-time mechanic. Although the safety inspection results were not provided to me originally, a copy of the safety inspection results was provided to me upon request. Several items received less than “OK” marks on the inspection sheet (- Shocks and struts - Steering components and steering linkage - Body components). I emailed the general manager, Elijah Cole, to ask if he would indicate if these inspection results were addressed in any way, and if so how. I have received no answer to this request to this date. Conclusion: ABRA performance failures include the following: - Unsound repair (alternator installation) - Failure to perform wheel alignment on initial receipt of theft vehicle - Failure to perform safety check on initial receipt of theft vehicle - Unauthorized performance of wheel alignment on vehicle returned due to unsound repair - Unauthorized performance of safety check on vehicle returned due to unsound repair - Failure to provide documentation of wheel alignment results - Failure to provide documentation of and work done in response to safety inspection

As long as I live in the Seattle area I will never go anywhere else for auto body repair. The people are amazing, the service is incredible and it really is the highlight to getting into a car accident. Not only were they able to help me quickly and efficiently, I sent the other party there and they did everything they could to help keep the cost down. I cannot give ABRA enough credit on just one review. Also, this was over the holiday weekend and they were still able to fit me in and help me put this whole ordeal behind me. I have never been so please with customer service, and overall humanity.

I had the best experience here! This is the first review Ive ever written, but it feels necessary because it was so great. Someone backed into my car in an intersection, and it was the first time Ive ever been in an accident. I wasnt sure exactly how to handle the process, but they walked me through it, were extremely helpful, and put me at ease. When I got my car back, it was in better condition than before the accident! They practically detailed my car when they were done, and they finished the repairs sooner than expected. They were so great!

Granted it was the Everett location specifically earning the one star, ANY place that is not Abra is a far better bet. Save yourself the time, trouble, energy and go anywhere else. Seriously, if the next closest shop was like 200 miles away, I wouldnt hesitate towing it that far! Itd be done quicker, cheaper, better workmanship, and a much better chance of those people giving a damn

While the service was positive overall, they left my car headlights on. When I came to pickup my car after they completed repairs, my battery was dead. It took them time to jump the car and they didnt even apologize.
