My experience with Canyon Road Auto Body was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive had. The short version of this story is that it took almost two months to get my windshield replaced. More details below (though not everything will fit in the review). I contacted Canyon Road Auto Body since they are the shop recommended by my Honda dealer about replacing my cars windshield. I spoke with Savannah who told me that since my car was so new (16 Civic), aftermarket glass was not available, and I would need to have Honda factory glass. Fearing that other companies (who said they could get aftermarket glass) would use glass that wasnt right for my car, I decided to go with Canyon Road Auto Body. I contacted my insurance company and was told that the shop would contact me directly. A week goes by with no word. I called and was brusquely told they had no claim. I had my insurance resend the claim, then called the shop to ensure they received it. I was told they had not, but to expect a call from Savannah by the end of the day. No call. At the end of the following day, I called again and was told by Jake they had ordered the glass and would let me know when it arrived. I asked him to confirm they had ordered Honda factory glass, but he didnt know. I received an email from Jake several days later stating the glass had arrived. I was told I could still bring the car in and I would be given a loaner car in case the car wasnt finished that day. I was called later that day and was told they had ordered the wrong glass for my car because Jake had incorrectly guessed the model. When I picked up the car, I found out that they had used aftermarket glass. I noticed distortion around the edges of the windshield all the way around, which was distracting to my driving at the bottom. I called to let them know the windshield was not installed correctly and was told to bring the car back. When I returned, I told one of the estimators I was there to have my windshield looked at because there was distortion. He went out to take a look and said it might be the rain making me think there was distortion (as if I didnt know what rain looked like). He didnt see the problem, and another employee took a look at it. He saw the issue and told me I would need to bring the car back the next day to have the glass guy take a look. The glass guy confirmed the glass was warped because (surprise!) the aftermarket glass was not designed for my car. I was notified that it would take a week for the Honda glass to arrive. Savannah called to double check if I still wanted the glass to be ordered since it would take so long to arrive (like I would be okay with an incorrect windshield instead of waiting another week to get it fixed). I told her to order the glass and to notify me when it arrived. A week went by and no call. I called several more times the following week and was told the glass wasnt there. Two weeks after I was told the glass would take a week to arrive, I was called at 2:30 in the afternoon and told it was there. I was asked to bring my car in the following morning. The earliest I was able to bring the car in was the next afternoon, which the person who called said, "would have to work." I brought the car in and was told it would be ready the following day, and that I should be able to pick it up around 4:30. The next day, I was called and told they did not have one of the moldings they needed, so the car wouldnt be ready that night. I finally was able to pick up my car and put an end to this saga of a windshield repair (almost two months after it began). This would have been a completely different experience if Canyon Road Auto Body had provided better customer service, including following up on calls and acknowledging their mistakes and the inconvenience they caused me.

Warning! I bought my vechicle from Bobs just down the street from Canyon Road Auto Body. I had a good experience there and needed repairs after being in a crash. So, I thought they would provide good service. I was very wrong. I wish I had checked out the reviews before taking my vechicle there. I had a rental for 3 weeks when all I needed was back sensor repair and front side panel work. I called ahead before taking my vechicle in so that they could order the parts before I dropped it off. I waited 2 weeks and no phone call. I called them and they said that they were expecting me tomorrow morning but they hadnt told me that. I had to rearrange my whole scedule to accomodate them. During the three weeks which was entirely too long!! Costing more on my end and the insurance company. They had zero communication with me. I had to keep calling. No word on when it would be done, excuses as too why it was taking so long when I finally stayed on hold to speak to a manager. The repair person I was dealing with couldnt get me simple information I had asked for so again I had to go to a manager who made excuses that he didnt staff the auto body well enough. Not his fault. So, I guess this is just now supposed to be my problem. How unprofessional. After getting very stern with a manager they finally told me that after another long weekend my vechicle would be done. Then another phone call and delays. I finally picked it up only to be told that I needed the insurance check no one told me I needed to bring. It was at our house. I had already been dropped off by the rental and had a baby in the carseat. How was I supposed to get to my house? The front desk girl made the excuse that this was the first time she had ever spoken to me. She never bothered to tell me that I had to bring it and sign it over (it was in my husbands name). So, I had to plop down a credit card so they wouldnt call the police with out paying so I could get to my house and get the check. I got home and my husband noticed serious marks all over the front. Someone had layed down plastic during the paint job and the impression was left. So, now I am still dealing with this. I will give you an update on how they resolve this. Please do yourself a favor do not go here. You will be very frustrated and they do not care. The job will take forever and the work is shotty.

I would give zero or negative rating if I can. These people use secondary grade parts or used car parts. I found that the bottom plate under back bumper (they replaced on my new car) has all scratches, when I questioned that they were very rude. I requested them to give or show my old parts after repair. When I asked them to show old parts, they impolitely and irresponsibly said they trashed everything. When I pointed couple of things what we have discussed initially, they asked me to leave their facility by taking my car. They mistreat customers. Please avoid this place.
