Not as secure as advertised; deceptive practices; didnt send email notices promised; managers rude; 3 late fees per month, $20 if 1 day late. I spent $50, 000 storing my worldly goods here after selling my home &traveling. I went into one of my units, valuables were gone. When I asked for security review to give police, was angrily told by manager they had to go through DAILY accesses to ALL units to identify when mine was entered during last 3 years, were going to charge HOURLY FEE to research. When I paid once by credit card for a friends unit, & that person didnt pay a later month, SafKeep CHARGED MY CARD WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION AND SET UP AUTOPAY TO MY CARD for other persons storage! Worst, when I cancelled my credit cards due to ID theft and began making cash payments so SafKeep wouldnt have bank info or credit card #s, when payment didnt get made by "friend" who kept my $, SAFKEEP SOLD MY PROPERTY WITHOUT SENDING ME EMAIL NOTICE. I came home to find family heirlooms gone forever. Manager was rude and dismissive.

Love this storage facility! Prices are very fair and there are sometimes introductory deals. The storage unit sizes vary so we were able to find exactly what we needed. Not too big and not too small. The facility is secure, clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Each building entrance has a handy cart to load your things on and off easily. The location is central and easy to access. We did quite a bit of research before choosing Saf Keep Storage and I even had my husband scope it out before we signed for our storage unit.

I found out this place through a friend. After giving them a call, I visited this place where I was greeted with a smile and understanding manager. Facilities are really clean, free of bugs, secure and maintained at cool temperature to protect your stored items. In addition to that, this facility gives you truck free of charge (Upto 20miles) to put items in storage. In short, if you are looking at storage in peninsula this is a place for you.

Ive been very happy with my experience at Saf Keep. They have been very reliable and helpful in getting me the right storage unit for my belongings, allowing me to use their truck and making sure moving crews are well situated to take in or remove items. Its clean, well-lit and secure and I dont worry about my items there. Plus, they have great specials too. I recommend this to anyone looking for storage in the Fremont area.

This is my 2nd time using Saf Keep. The staff is helpful, professional, and friendly - overall, really wonderful people to have as part of your moving experience. They let me see the space that I was renting before signing papers (and were speedy!) and then walked me through relevant paperwork. I really enjoyed my experience, feel confident that my things are safe, and have already been back to exchange things in my unit.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I looked up a bunch of storage units and they all seemed shady and had a lot of hidden fees, the person at Saf Keep was up front about all costs and got me in and out super fast. And then they told me that my move came with free loading help and for new customers you get a free prize, which isnt that big of a deal but it does make you feel taken care of.

Saf Keep staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the renting process. I felt like the staff was trying to make the process as easy as possible as well as clear and understandable. The facility is very safe and clean and I also found it easy to access my unit. Their prices (especially the new renter deals) are very competitive and I look forward to renting with Saf Keep again.

Professional staff, able to get answers from a real human even when 3,000 miles away. Clean facilities carefully built to prevent flooding. Would be all 5 stars if only the cost were lower - but in the Bay Area, they were the least expensive I found, so they seem to be your best option.

Saf Keep Storage Facility in Redwood City is the most clean and elegant one I have seen. Service rendered by staff members is excellent and they are readily available. I definitely feel that my storage unit is safe and will always be. Thank you for the good work.

The best storage facility in mid-peninsula. I am a repeat renter of this facility. If/when you need to have extra storage, this is the one you should pick (in mid-peninsula). Trust me, you will be happy with the choice.
