I was so happy to find Security Public Storage. They are amazing in every single way: 1.Great customer service! I usually interact with Steve who is always very helpful. He always does what he can to offer you the best deals. 2. This place has the best deals! I looked around and no other self-storage place could compare. 3. They let you use a moving truck to move your stuff into storage. I saved at least $100 alone from this service. 4. Storage units are inside the building and protected from the elements, rain, etc. and are typically 20degrees lower than the weather outside. It is even printed from rodents and pests. 5. They have security cameras, and individual alarms for each unit and have never had a breakin and have been open for 31 years. 6. It is located off El Camino, which is super convenient. They have a gate and a personal code to get in. It is a super safe area, which is really important to me. 7. There is always someone in the office to help you with whatever you need. 8. They have a huge 10x15 freight elevator. 9. They have 7 carts so no need to really carry things in and out. I love this place and have used their service for 5 months. Im super glad I did my research and was able to find the best storage company in the area!

I rented this space in a rush and didnt look at it ahead. The building is clean and secure, with large elevators. The office staff are nice. But the ceilings are only 8 high and the lighting is awful. The area between lockers on each side is narrow, making it a puzzle to get larger items situated. My movers were frustrated and theyre experienced. The motion sensor lights turn off after just a few minutes and you have to go down the hall, wave your arms to turn them on. Previously, Ive had drive up storage and this was never an issue. Bring a flashlight! The building is COLD. Dress for winter. It never gets sun and the cement holds intense, bone numbing cold. Its good for my stuff, so I bring a jacket and gloves even to just run in for a couple of things. They will all be ice cold. Im not a fan of the limited hours. Traffic at rush hour makes it hard to get to get there during the week. The early daily close is a pain. The 9pm close at my former storage area was really handy.

Clean and secure building. They have online payment available, I had some issues with it at first, but they seemed to have fixed it. Also was supposed to be signed up for automatic payments but somehow that did not happen causing some billing confusion on my end, I was finally able to do that online when making a payment recently, thankfully because I havent been able to do it in person since I was traveling for several months out of the country with limited internet making it difficult to pay online each month, and I was really counting on automatic payments. Price has gone up since I started using them, still somewhat reasonable, but I will be moving out soon because I can no longer justify, or afford spending that money. Other than that, they are a great facility with friendly and helpful staff.

This is the best self-storage place ever. Seriously. When I first discovered it Id moved to a new neighborhood and hadnt thought ahead to how small our apartment was. I needed storage on short notice and found a place practically across the street. It was such a great experience that I realized I wouldve driven miles. So today I had a load of stuff to drop off and grab the winter goods. Id forgotten my access code again so I got to see Steve in the office whod been so awesome before. Not only did the place smell really nice, it was clean, organized, and I was greeted by a sharp-eyed friend who recognized me immediately. Hes got the greatest demeanor and made my drudgery chore totally cool. 5 Star. A+. These guys should teach a class on how to run a business.

This place seems to be different than other storage lots in that they actually have FRIENDLY and HELPFUL staff here!! Its also a very clean facility which is nice, so I dont feel like Im taking my furniture to a dump. Plenty of parking, and location is good too. When I leave here I have a feeling that my things are safe which takes a load off of my mind. Steve and Chris are both very helpful and nice, and very patient as well since English isnt my first language. Anyway if you are looking for a place to store your belongings, look no further! If you dont believe me just call them up, they are very friendly guys.

Ive been storing my things here for almost two years. Its funny, because I keep trying to downsize, then find another reason to keep my space. Its been a fun ride, working with the manager, Steve, at this location. He always has a very positive "can-do" attitude no matter how many times Ive told him, Ill be moving out or downgrading or passing on my space to a friend and/or anything else. Im not a huge fan of their rates, but they are competitive to other rates in the Bay Area, and all of my things have been perfectly safe while Ive been storing here. I would definitely recommend this facility to a friend. ;)

My experience at SPS has been better than I could have ever expected. Not only have I been provided with a great storage space, in a safe, secure and convenient location, and for a very reasonable price, but both Steve and Sergio have gone above and beyond with their assistance. Whether to help with a light bulb, acquiring boxes, setting up cones to block off space for a moving truck or just to answer any of my day to day questions, both Steve and Sergio have been great. I looked at numerous storage locations and am glad I made the choice I did. I would recommend using SPS unequivocally to anyone.

I like the security of the location and that its cool in the summer. The staff are nice guys, friendly and willing to answer questions & lend a hand as needed. Ive smashed a few things between the locker and car; nobody gave me grief, which I appreciate. The hours are a heckofanuisance. Its not open past 6pm and has limited hours to access your locker on Sundays. Between Silicon Valley traffic and a busy life; its not ideal. But I make it work. We had a rocky start with some miscommunication, but theyve done their best to make me a happy customer. That means alot!

Renting from Security Public Storage has been wonderful. We needed to rent a space the same day that we were moving. My husband and I were desperate. We had checked other storage facilities and the prices were ridiculous for the amount of space that we were renting. Fortunately when we stopped at Security Public Storage and checked out their prices that was our last stop. No more looking and we were able to secure the unit that we needed the same day. WAY TO GO DEAN & DANA. We would recommend your facility to everyone. Thanks again Lessie & Dexter

Ive used a lot of storage facilities over the years and Security Public Storage in Redwood City is definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. Of primary importance my items have been safe and secure in a clean environment, and I have no worries that they will be damaged. Secondly, the manager, Steve, is customer oriented and always really helpful. I think this is pretty rare in this industry. Finally the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this facility for both long term and short term storage needs.
