This is THE most horrible US Post Office I have ever seen in my life. A couple of years ago, they lost their parking lot which got fenced off and turned into a construction site. So, for almost two (!!!) years they had no designated parking space at all. Zero. Null. Zilch... Customers were parking along the fence and in a small spot adjacent to the offices building which is about 10 times smaller than the lot they used to have. It took them almost 2 years to mark that spot as a designated parking area and as of now (September 2015) they still have zero parking spots for disabled drivers (which, BTW, is a serious violation of a number of rules and regulations issued by the State of California along with the City and County of Los Angeles). But the biggest problem with this USPS office is their supervisor. Dressed as if shes almost ready to attend an all-night-long party, with a hairstyle covering half of her face she would give a serious attitude every time I needed her assistance. Fortunately, for the 10 years Ive lived in Reseda, Ive needed it for only 3 or maybe 4 times. However, even such a small number of interactions with her has left a very unpleasant impression of her as both, a professional and a person . While talking to me, shes always been rude, impatient and hard to communicate with. She is not capable of giving straight answers to simple questions but rather produces long, arrogant and attitude-filled statements which have no sense whatsoever. She looks at you as if you were a small child who came to the office to take her precious time which she hates to waste on such an annoying person as you. I couldve gone on and on and on, but to make the long story short -- just stay away from this office as far as possible and, if possible, use another USPS offices for your postal needs...

Had a scheduled delivery set for today. I hadnt asked for signed on delivery, but I guess the shipper did... Have been waiting for a part for a client of mine. Tried to called the 1800 number... forget it. So I went strait to the source. The man I talked to on the phone, was pissed off and explained to me how busy the driver is, I explained to him that Im busy and now your wasting my time with a package that should of been delivered. He said to me, "what do you want me to do?" Well how about be nice for starters, second let me know where my parcel is! I was sitting in my office when the package was delivered. Just didnt have the blinds open, no door bell, no knock. Just a slip "Sorry we missed you"! Now I have to wait until 4:30 to get the package I need for my client. I had to turn the conversation around to say when can I pick up the package, before he hung up on me. No thank you for calling, no have a nice day, just click. Cant wait to go get my package....

Dont bother. These people are the worst of the worst. They are obnoxiously rude and beyond stupid, not only dont they know how to use their own computers but if you have the inclination to complain about it theyll simply refuse to serve you so they dont have to deal with the complaint. This post office is a perfect example of what were getting for our tax money: incompetence and sloth. And the worst part of it is we cant touch these idiots, theyre protected by their union. Im trying to run a business here and theyre making it impossible for me, I cant spend two hours at the post office every time I need to send a package. This has gotten beyond ridiculous, its time to shut these clowns down entirely. Or we could fire the whole lot of them and start over, but you and I both know that wont happen. Dont waste your time in Reseda 91335, go right down the street to the Tarzana 91356 post office where they actually have competent and NICE people.

I have lived here for almost 40 years. This post office has gone through a lot of changes over 4 decades, but one thing is for sure, management has become completely inconsiderate. I have packages delivered often, and the post office carrier is someone Ive known for 20 years, and does great. This review isnt about him. Its about when hes on vacation. Packages that have a redelivery to Saturday due to need for signature dont make it on that Saturday and I have to keep calling USPS main line and have them talk to management. And management when I speak to them is "we dont have enough people" to deliver when they failed to remember to put the package with the substitute mail carriers truck. Amazon uses UPS and FedEx, Ebay uses USPS, and frankly its just easier to buy from Amazon than hassle USPS.

The worst post office ever. Its already 3 days and they havent scanned my mail. If i pay for tracking service i would expect to get the service. At this point i would say i dont trust the staff here be carefull when mailing here pretty shady people. Im really nervous that my mail is lost and if i dont deliver these boxes i dont get to pay my rent. But they dont care about you or your situation they dont even bother to help you out to find the package. They just put it all in you. Worst of the worst of the worst. There are many people out there that need a job give them a chance instead of having all these bozos here.

1) The mail delivery frequently delivers mail to the wrong address - this is a frequent problem on my block. Often the delivery person will deliver all mail on the block exactly one house off. 2) The lines inside the post office can frequently extend beyond an hour long. 3) There is a very limited number of parking spaces compared to the number of customers they have. There used to be more, but those spaces were closed last year. PS - Ironically, this post office is named after John Wooden, who is known for excellence; this post office definitely does not rise to even the lowest depths of mediocrity.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with this post which I frequent about 2 times a week. The staff is very friendly and informative. Most problems occur because 1 of 3 customers do not have their parcels or forms prepared prior to reaching the counter. Sometimes they are short-staffed which is not the clerks fault but the US Government for imposing layoffs. In any sence, I find this to be much better service than that I received prior at the 2 locations in Canoga Park.

I dont go to the windows very often, so I cant speak to the customer service. But I mail letters and packages here almost every morning (first pickup is 10 AM, which is earlier than others in the area) and have not had anything lost or misdirected for a long time. Its too bad they lost their parking lot, but thats not their fault. Hopefully someday theyll be able to get a better location.

The United States Post Office is a prime example of the US Governments inefficiency in the everyday. * Filthy Conditions * Tired, Exasperated Employees * Outdated Technology * Annually Rising Prices (if not more often) * Astronomically Long Wait Times (1+ hours) With mail theft on the drastic increase, the United States Post Office is not a place you want to trust with your mail.
