My experience with them did not last long but it was still one of the worst I have had with any business. I drove there to get an estimate and I was feeling perfectly relaxed and calm upon my arrival. The manager told me verbally that I could do the paint job (with no specification of the type) for $500 if I wanted to in the next few days. I then told him that I was just trying to get a formal estimate right now with all of the different options and costs, after all there is a sign that clearly indicates that they give free estimates. He then gave me a figure of $1000 on a post it not indicating what it was for. All the while he had a surprising rude and negative attitude. I questioned his approach. In any case, it seemed like this was the wrong place for me even though I had given this person no reason to act this way. You get the picture. I hope this does not happen to you if you decide to go there but none the less I would not trust and provide business to someone that gives themselves the right to treat their customers this way with no clear reason.

I had some slight paint damage on the hood and bumper of my 2008 Toyota Prius. JC was the specialist I worked with initially and he said he could completly repair it for $500 INCLUDING the fenders. I showed up 1 week later with everything done except the fenders (still very noticeable paint damage). Of course JC was not there to explain what he promissed. Neil (a manager I assume) explained that the order submitted did not include the fenders, even though it said it did. We proceeded to haggle. He said he could repair the fender (something I was already expecting to have done) for another $50 and weeks worth of work. Lets just say, I was not willing to come back again to discover that the job was half done again. He offerred to knock a whopping $30 off the price for me to leave without the problem fixed. Which is really insignificant considering it costs about $200 to repair that damage. I should have gone to the Maaco in Hayward. I hear they have much better service and are more reliable. Regardless, I know I will not return to this Maaco.

First the good. I was buying a cheap paint job on a cheap, old car to spruce it up. The paint job looked way better than what I paid. It was far from perfect, but way better than the way it was and certainly decent for the level of quality for what I selected. Now the bad. They said it would take 3-4 business days, it took 8. They broke my sunroof and denied responsibility. It is going to cost me more to get the sunroof fixed (they painted it shut and pryed it open) then I paid for the paint job. I paid them to install new fog lights (replacing the old oxidized covers) and they did, but they dont work. The old fog lights worked just fine when I took it in. They said their responsibility ends with installation, not making them work? What? Bottom line, decent cheap paint job. Happy with the quality of the paint job. Everything else about this place is severly lacking. No attention to detail, horrible follow-up, bait and switch on time to do the job, bait and switch on pricing for prep offered vs prep delivered.

These people are a joke. Dont waste your time or money here. They did a crappy paint job and didnt finish when they say they do. We had to take the vehicle back several times because they did a half ass job. If this is a corporate business, corporate will be receiving a call and someone needs a foot shoved way up their.....If this is a small business they need to be shut down. It was just THAT BAD!

Theres nothing like driving 35 miles to find the shop closed on Saturday at 10:30 am when they claim to be open until noon. Seems very unprofessional to me.
