I know how quick people are today to write and criticize or complain. Every now and again, when one is well served and well treated, we should take the time to give credit. I just want to commend you and your staff on making our recent move an enjoyable experience. I want to particularly point out how impressed I was with the respectful, hard working, and courteous crew who moved us. A special thanks to Ted and Jason!This is the first time I have used your company in a move, and based on what Ive just experienced, I would use your services again if ever needed and recommend you as well.

This company do not know what they are doing! I call, I set up an estimate appointment. They call me the next day to set an appointment. The one already scheduled. Then claiming I am not on their system. So we set another appointment. The guy does not show. I call, they have no record of this appointment either. I have names of all the people who were supposed to be coming to estimate the move. None of them appeared.If this is how they are at the beginning of the process, why on earth would anyone want to trust them with their belongings.

Was very pleased with the entire experience. Price was as quoted but I felt was a little high (thats why the 4 star). Allied Van Lines Driver was early on my moving day and was excellent maneuvering the truck through the storage facility right up to my unit. All my stuff was dusted off at my request prior to loading onto the truck. The driver kept me informed every step of the way and again was early on the drop off day. I would recommend Colonial Van and Storage for any of your moving needs. You would not be disappointed!

Sacramento to Houston move. The Estimator, Kevin was great. He was with us all the way through the move. The packers were horrible. They dumped 24 organized drawers into one box(called Games) instead of keeping them separated. I spent 3 days sorting. In addition for a 4 bedroom house everything was labeled Bedroom, Garage, Kitchen, or Games. I had 20 boxes labeled games. I may have 10 board games. The Loaders, Driver, and Unloaders were prompt, courteous, and professional.

I would rather have packed my own belongings and moved myself would have been faster and unbroken.(((( I know for a fact that this post is a failed attempt at a disgruntled former employee)))).

They were expensive (almost double another quote) but chose them based on superior ratings online. Even paid more for full insurance. They broke couple of my items and never bothered to pay a dime so far. The amount claimed is less than the full insurance price I paid. I would not recommend them, especially considering their cost.

We were very impressed with the care, which the moving crew used to wrap and box our possessions. They even took extra time to lay protective cardboard to protect the hard wood floors.
