Ive gone to this salon 2 times since it is close to my house. The first time I received the worst cut of my entire life from a young woman. I asked for just a basic trim and she didnt even cut anything evenly. It is the most basic womans cut that exists and she couldnt even do it. I had one inch pieces hanging at strange increments around my head when she was done. I went back a few days later and an older lady cleaned it up for free. I think the young woman was fired. I also went back a second time thinking the first was a fluke and they had just accidentally hired someone inexperienced. Same as before, I just wanted a simple trim exactly the same as my current haircut and instead the woman ended up cutting my bangs in a completely different style. I already have very thin and silky hair and she ended up thinning out most of my hair. I had no idea that is what she meant when she said she was going thin it. She took out 60% of my hair! I dont understand how I go in and ask for a simple trim and come out with a completely different style. I would highly suggest avoiding this place. The hair stylists are inexperienced and do not listen to the customers. DO NOT GO HERE.

I go here about every 3 weeks. The staff is friendly, unlike the many overpriced, hipster and/or posh places in the city. However, you will notice a slight difference in haircut options. But if you want a traditional trim or cut then this place is perfect. I found that not everyones forte and style matches my desired look, especially since I have slightly curly/wavy hair. That said, Rose is an expert and will accommodate both hand cut (ie scissors only) and machine cut styles. Im very happy with results but it took a few visits to find the core group of stylists that I like.

Got my cut be Terry . Got a fade. He messed up one side very bad. Had to go to a barber right after to save it. My fault for going to Great Clips for a fade cut.
