Had an unfortunate encounter with a telephone pole on a Friday while visiting San Francisco in our new motorhome. Repairing our retractable awning would need replacement parts from Colorado and it seemed unlikely we would be able to find someone who could get the parts and do the repair within our limited time frame. Sturken Auto and RV Repair was recommended by the awning manufacturer and we were impressed by their online reviews. I called and spoke with Steve Sturken who seemed very knowledgeable and offered to come in on SATURDAY to check the damage and see if he could help. He ordered the parts on Monday and once they arrived he repaired the awning while I waited at what I thought was a very reasonable cost. Im not one that often writes online reviews but given the exceptional service provided by Steve Sturken I felt a need to share my experience. He has my highest recommendations!!

Attention RV Owners: I am giving Steve and his team the top rating because they are tops in knowledge, experience, skill, and professionalism. I felt that Steve treated my RV as he would treat his own and this is not always easy to find in the San Jose area. Having dealt with other services before, I felt that it was worth driving across town to have Sturken do repairs. If you want someone who is knowledgeable and fair and has experience dealing with warranty work, Steve is your man. Thanks Steve!

My boyfriend and I were on a roadtrip through the US, our camper we were towing got rear ended in San Jose. It was a complete total. Being thousands of miles away from home, it was very stressful with getting little help from the insurance company. Steve and his team put our minds at ease and helped us out so much! I HIGHLY recommend this shop as they treated us like family and did everything they could to make our day a little bit better! I cant praise them enough, such amazing service!!!!

Steve, Mike, and the rest of the crew are great. Being on the road with multiple RV components failing was distressing, Steve understood the situation we were in and quickly took care of our issues and got us back on the road safely and comfortably. His history with RV repair was essential in figuring out the many issues we had and was able to fix what he could, jury rig what he couldnt (timely) and explained everything in great detail for us to take care of when we get home.

Absolutely the best RV mechanic in San Jose! You will love Steve and his team: honest, patient, communicative and funny. He fixed all the things on our little T@B after a cross country trip with a blow out that caused unbelievable damage. He called me each time there was a new issue (like the hole in the floor that was covered by a rug) and updated my estimate. In the end, reasonable cost for excellent work. Ill use Sturken for all our repairs from now on!

I warned my brother about this place. I told him they had a bad reputation but he was too trusting. His car was "fixed" by Sturken but had to return it several times in the very near future for new problems like a gas smell, knocking noises, etc... Sturken may be defrauding customers by agreeing to repairs then breaking other things so that the car needs to come back again and more money required. My advise to anyone: STAY CLEAR OF STURKEN AUTO REPAIR

My husband and I have been going to see Steve for over 2 years. We love the quality of his work, and how personable yet professional he is. He always has the time to talk with us. The part I appreciate the most is if anything comes up while were going in for the regular maintenance, Steve takes the time to explain whats going on. He is honest and great to talk to. Had the RV for two weeks an was not able to fix a simple electrical issue. Charged me for analyzing the problem without bringing a solution. I had to start my trip without the lights on my tow dolly in working condition. I just got lucky that a mobile repair service in Buellton fixed the problem in ninety minutes...

Steve and his staff treat me like family and I am 100% comfortable saying "just do what needs to be done." I would never take my car anywhere else and am grateful to have someone who will explain to me the work that will be done, why its being done, and where I can and cant cut corners financially. Frustration mostly first they could fix my truck then they couldnt fix my truck then they could fix it but they need to order the part then they ordered the part but they still couldnt fix my truck in the end of the day, I didnt get my truck fixed I spent the night there and I walked out with no fix on my truck.

I wont take my car anywhere else. I trust Steve and his staff completely. I have never had a bad experience and I always feel like I got a fair deal. I know they will tell me what really needs to be done on my car and what can wait. If you want a mechanic you can trust, dont look any further.
