This is a storage facility worth checking out. I found this place online and called the toll free number and spoke to Matt. He assisted me with renting a unit for my needs on their website. I got a great web rate for the unit. While we were on the call his computer went down, this resulted in my being charged twice for the deposit, but they were happy to credit my account once I provided proof of the mistake. All of my questions were asked and there is no real catch to the low prices you see online. You do have to get insurance protection for your valuables and it is an additional cost, but probably worth it in the long run. Its for your protection and theirs. As I was getting of the phone with Matt at the call center, I got a call right away from Charlene, who welcomed me aboard and asked if I had additional questions and offered that I come in to take a look at the unit just to be sure it was what I was looking for. Today, I went in to take care of the financials before I moved in and met Jerry the manager. He is very cool, calm and patient. He drove me around the cute little golf cart to show me the units and space. Place is very very clean, and even though my unit is upstairs, they have a freight elevator (it is working) and a dolly in case you dont have one available. While waiting to finalize my account the power went down twice (not their fault, men were working on the premises) and Jerry just tugged along and thanked me for my patience. They have some of the best prices around, would be hard to beat them in such a great location in San Leandro and everyone is very friendly and accommodating and they let you know everything you need to know up front. The space is open every day and even late hours should you need to move stuff in or out after 7pm. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great rates, fast friendly service and a clean, safe area to store your belongings.

My whole experience with this location and its staff has been wonderful. I initially made my reservation online for a 5X10 space, thinking that it would be enough for the stuff that I had. Once I made my reservation online, I immediately received a phone call from the Site Manager, Jerry. He was very friendly and provided me with all the information I needed. We discussed what I was going to be storing and determined that I needed a bigger unit. We set up a time to meet and I was on my way from San Diego. I did run into a little bit of a snag, but the reps assisted me and I got my unit. The facility is clean, associates are professional and friendly, and my unit is easily accessible. I think that the location of this facility is great for me, as I am still in transition to finding a new place to live and my things are centrally located. I feel secure knowing that my personal belongings are protected. The facility is very secure with two gated entrances, security passcodes needed to get in and out of the facility, an onsite manager, and video surveillance. I cant reiterate it enough, that the staff at this location is great. Thank you to Jerry and his team. I recommend this place highly.

My experience was great when leasing my storage unit at San Leandro Extra Space. I first reserved the unit I felt I wanted online. Vanessa, an associate at the location, soon after followed up with me with a phone call. She helped me understand the different renting options and I ended up changing my reservation to an upstairs unit because the price was more affordable and was just as easy to load up my belongings using a lift. Vanessa was extremely accommodating and professional during the entire process. Once my move day came, she helped finish my transaction with signing the lease agreements and getting me a lock to the storage. It was a quick and efficient. Every thing was made clear to me and I feel like I got a great deal on my storage unit. I was moved in within an hour once I had the space at my disposal. I highly recommend Extra Space San Leandro to anyone getting ready for a move or needing storage!

I reserved a storage unit right before I went to bed on Wednesday night and the next morning Jason Shaw confirmed my reservation. When I went in Jason was very polite very courteous and very informative, and very patient. He showed me the available unit and explained the rates and I was comfortable with the rates ,the unit, as well as the customer service experience I received. Thank u Extra Space Storage for having employees such as Jason Shaw. Hes great and I wish their were more super employees around the world like Mr Shaw. Hes deserves a manager position because it would be great to have a staff of employees like Mr Shaw. Also Extra Space has the best rates in town. If u want to store your belongings in a clean, safe place with the lowest rates- the place is Extra Space Storage.

I needed a storage space and found the one very close to where I was lying at the time. Graeme was very helpful and friendly and helped us decide what size would best fit our needs. We were in a jam and needed a space right away since we couldnt find a place to live yet. That very same day while we were putting things in storage, we found a place to live. Jerry (I think hes the manager) was able to refund us the cost of the storage unit minus the admin and insurace fee! That was very considerate of them! I wasnt sure if they would be able to do that since we just put money down on renting it for a month. Thank you Jerry! This is the place to store your stuff! check it out The staff at Extra Space was very professional, kind and helpful.. The office manager was very friendly, she called me before I arrived and remembered my name when I showed up. She explained everything in detail including all rules of the premises. I was also driven around and shown many sizes of units available, both upstairs and downstairs. All units were very clean. The hours are great and seem to be open later than other storage facilities.I felt very safe with my belongings in this facility. The cost at this facility was the best value in comparison to the other self storages and their competitors-you can get a larger unit for less at this facility. Also close to the freeway and airport.

By ladylitasb The facilities are very good, they are clean when you first rent but I do think the out side could use a sweeping now and then. I havent had to deal with the staff since I first rented a space. At thawt time they were very knowledgeable. I rented this space because I was moving and had no where to live, so, a friend give me a place to stay until I could find some where to live. Now I find I dont have room for things in storage so, I just left them there. My only concern is that the rent will continue to go up, up and I cant afford this storage any longer. Some of us live n a limited income andit gets harder every year. I staying now because of the price and the customer service I received when I first open my storage.
