Absurdly poor service. It has taken 2.5 hours to reserve a unit that I had already called ahead and booked. After 1.5 hours of trying to find a unit with a door that could fit my couch, the computer system crashed and I left in a fit of frustration. Upon returning the next day, the same agent spent 30 minutes trying to upsell me all the moving supplies and insurance, as if I werent already frustrated. Then the computer crashed again, and they did manual receipts to run my credit card at a later time. After an hour, I was able to get the unit. I bought a lock at Home Depot (note: you need a lock at the time of lease) and returned the $20 lock they sold me. Another manual receipt. Later that night, the computer was back up and they ran the transactions. Now theyre calling me saying I need to come back AGAIN and sign another receipt for the refund, although I already have a copy! I asked them to waive the $24 admin fee because it has taken 2.5 hours, and no, they said they couldnt.

Thank you so so much Jennifer for saving the day! I really appreciate your stepping in and fixing my earlier problem with Christopher at a neighboring unit. Jennifer was extremely understanding, helpful, courteous and all around professional. She even stayed well after closing hours to make sure everything was situated with my unit. I felt very comfortable with Jennifer, and she worked really hard to make sure I got the right sized unit for the best price. I would highly recommend that everyone who is looking for storage to come her to THIS storage unit and specifically ask Jennifer. I did not have very good service or luck at other neighboring units. I just really really Really appreciate Jennifer for helping me out and turning this into a very positive experience for me and my family — what with moving to the area and being new. Thanks :) 12/10 stars

Juan is very friendly, fast and efficient. I reserved storage at 9am this morning, Juan called me in less than 30 minutes asking to book an appointment. When I walked in he helped me very quickly and showed me all the paperwork highlighting things I need to know. He also gave me a temporary lock till I got my own. By 4.30pm my move was complete. Drive up units are also very convenient for loading and unloading. The only thing to remember with public storage $1 ads is that its never gonna be $1! $24 one time fee, $11/mth (min) insurance, $7 damp absorber (since this facility is near a creek), $20 per lock (get your own from Walmart, I spent $5 for two locks)... Adds up quickly! Just be prepared for this. There are three public storage places in a row on the street so be mindful of that as well. Overall, great work Juan!

The staff member Marisol was extremely informative of different options the place offered. She also took the time to make sure the unit I was choosing was a right fit for my storage needs. Price is reasonable and staff is exceptional. The site manager Juan was also very helpful and kept repeating if there was any concerns or other needs that I may need to let him know so he can help. The only negative I see about this place is the small parking lot and not-so-safe exit driveway, you have to be really careful coming out. Other than that I will be using their services and recommending them to my friends.

In setting up the Unit, I had such a positive and helpful sales rep that understood my needs he recommended this location for me for my budget and location needs. Once I spoke w the manager, Well lets just say It was a dine deal... Juan was straight up honest and helpful. Showed me around the facility and the Unit, it didnt end there he took time to instruct me with the lift usage and gate entry etc... Thanks for having such a dedicated person representing your establishment.

Juan, the property manager gave me "outstanding" customer service. He resolved my concerns in a timely manner. His professional demeanor and kind personality was like a breath of fresh air. Juan extended his professional resources by scheduling a pick-up of items to be dumped. Also, he stayed beyond his 5:00pm closing to complete my transaction. I highly recommend this Public Storage location to everyone who wants "outstanding" customer service.

All our concerns and questions regarding two storage spaces have been professionally and patiently handled by Margaret over several years. She is particularly helpful in keeping the costs down, and several times shes notified us of less expensive (but equal in size) units that weve moved to with great savings. Clearly, Margaret know her stuff, and were grateful shes handling our accounts.

Ive just closed shop due to relocation after 15 years of storage here. It used to be American Self-Storage; Public Storage took it over a couple years back. The transition was pretty seamless, and the new Public Storage staff has always been helpful and friendly. The location right off the 101 and Embarcadero is excellent, with easy access to Stanford if thats in your plans.

I like this storage place for cheap rents, best location close to US 101 in East Palo Alto edge and great staff. The property manager, Juan is very friendly and cooperative, needed help during moving stuff and he was there himself for multiple one time courtesies. Thanks so much :)
