I feel so blessed to have a Public Storage in my neighborhood. I have not needed storage for the past 12 years. In March, 2013 my landlords informed me that they were going to sale their home. We had to downsize during the selling period, so I had to find a place to store my things until I could find another permanent living arrangement. I didnt know Public Storage had come to Saratoga, CA because the address they have, had a previous owner for many years. I did not want to put stuff in storage, but with no other choice, I came to this location on 4/28/13. Thats when I met Jim. Jim was very professional and very knowledgeable of the Storage Units at his facility. After hearing from me what I needed to store, he informed me of what size would fit me best, and what the total bill would be. On 9/15/13, I needed to upgrade to a bigger Storage Unit, and once again, Jim helped me with the transition. Another reason why Im taking time to give a review for Jim is because he has exceptional customer service skills. He always greets me with a cheerful smile when I come to pay my bill in person, and if I get too busy and forget to pay my bill, he gives me a courtesy call before the 10th of the month, assisting me in avoiding a late fee. I hope others will take time to review Jim because he is a breathe of fresh air, in a time when so many businesses no longer pride themselves on customer service. I look forward to seeing Jim each time I go in person to pay my bill. How many people do you know who look forward to paying their bills. Jim is a keeper.

Although Lou was extremely helpful, there is a woman that I believe Lou said was the manager that was extremely rude to me when I came in to ask a question. She snapped at me, "As you can see, we are extremely busy, so if you have a question you had better come back later." In addition, I know that the lease is a month to month contract, but I did not think they would raise the rent over $40 only 6 months after I rented the unit. I should have read the reviews on yelp before renting here. Apparently they can raise the rent as often as they like and they do, knowing that after you spent the money, time and effort to move your belongings in, that most people will just continue to pay the additional amount so you do not have to pay more money, time and effort to move to a different place.Even worse, when I called customer service they were even more unhelpful by saying specific terms were in the contract that were not, and telling me to call the district manager if I needed help "reading the contract". My daughter works for a law firm and knows how to read a contract so this was not helpful or conducive to their customer service public relations. Just be aware before you rent here - the price you see is only temporary and will continuously go up. Customer service is not great either.

I wanted to share something cool. I told Victoria I was going to be storing a lot of shoes, some antique photographs, and some precious items. She had some really great ideas on how to pack my shoes. I already had clear bins and originally I was going to use some newspaper to place on top of my shoes. She said that I was better off getting some packing paper because newspaper print bleeds out. She then let me know that I absolutely needed a damp check. She said that not only will it collect moisture and humidity, but it will keep my shoes preserved, fresh, and moisture free. Victoria is attentive and very professional. Stop by and see Victoria my new fellow sneaker head.

We worked with Daisha to secure a unit and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She was incredibly helpful with explaining the various options available as well as what we would work best for our needs. We never felt pressured to buy or sign up for anything; instead, her exemplary customer service made us feel more informed and safer knowing that our goods were being cared for by the staff here. I came to this facility looking for moving supplies, I had no intention on buying anything but I was so impressed on how knowledgable Lou was that I end up buying $50 worth of packaging supplies. His recommendations on what things to use was great that Im confident that the things Im sending overseas to my father will arrive in good order. At the end of this transaction, he asked me how my experience was and wanted for my feedback. Well here it is!! IF I CAN GIVE YOU 10 STARS, I WOULD..OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!

I just rented a small 5x5 storage unit at this Public Storage location. It is conveniently located (for me) and was offering a pretty good deal ($1 rent for the first month and a discount off the regular rental price). I was helped by Russell was very friendly and did a great job in working with me through the rental process. We also ended up having an interesting discussion about different languages. The unit itself was a decent clean unit which should hopefully serve me well for some time.

I had to find emergency storage when the schedule for my household move from the mid-west got pulled up and my house was not ready. Moving company storage costs a fortune. Lou worked hard to find the right size storage units for a VERY good price and was very flexible as the moving schedule continued to change. This location also has good access for big rigs. Overall excellent experience. I will definitely come back to this location if I have storage needs in the future.

The acting manager Rochelle was very kind and helpful , patience and dedicated to help me investigate a water spot on my unit . Their existing manager Lou is also very friendly. I like this site. The other relief, Russel is another cheerful guy . Whats more can you ask for on new year eve when you need help and they are always there with a smile ^_^ Glad that your management hired people -friendly person ^_^ keep it up !

I came in to get a few boxes because im slowly packing stuff up for a big move out. Victoria suggested i get a storage pack which had a different variety of boxes and some tape considering the stuff i mentioned that i was packing. I came in overwhelmed and left relieved because i saved money and had a great experience with Victoria. Ill be back for more boxes in a few weeks and look forward to seeing her.

A few weeks ago I came in and talked to Victoria about getting file boxes. I wanted 50 and she only had 25. Yesterday she called me and let me know that she went and picked up 25 more file boxes for me. Victoria displayed outstanding customer service. She went out of her way to make sure that my needs were taken care of. Thank you for being awesome! Ill be back in a few weeks to pick up more file boxes!
