I was a student looking for storage for the summer when I came across fliers advertising a discount introductory rate for All Aboard Mini Storage. I decided to go with it because I would be saving $25 over a competing storage facility. Do not be fooled by the discount. I’m giving All Aboard Mini Storage a low rating because I ultimately ended up losing a lot more money than the discount saved and because their customer service was extremely bad compared with the previous storage facility I went with. I was warned beforehand that I would have to give a 5-day notice before closing my storage space. At the end of summer, I sent an email to them, giving my notification. I received a personal confirmation from the manager that they had received my notification and that they appreciated doing business with me. Two months later, I find that they were still charging me and now at full price. When I contacted them about this mistake, they told me to refer back to the contract I had signed 5 months ago at section 7, where it stated that I would have to come in person to close my account. At no point before that did they contact me about coming in to shut down the account and I was led to believe that the account had closed. At no point did they apologise because they were afraid of liability if they did. Basically, there is an expectation for YOU to follow up on closing your account, otherwise it is in their best interest to just keep charging without your knowledge. I ended up wasting over $200 without my knowledge before I realised they were still charging me. I did not get a refund despite the fact that I had nothing stored in the space for over two months. I did not get an apology and instead was treated to a lecture about how I should always keep track of a contract during my summer vacation. Students should stay away.

I just rented a storage unit from the Extra Space Storage at 1520 Willow, where Felix is the manager and his wife, Rene, is also working there. After I reserved a storage unit online, I received a confirmation via email right away and also a reminder of the date. My first impression about this facility when I first got to the office was that Felix welcomed me with a smile and explained everything very clear to me and set up my account. He showed the unit, the floor plan and ways to access my unit. I drove a couples of times to bring my stuffs to the unit. Every time I was there, I usually saw Felix checking and maintaining the facility and his wife cleaning the place. No wonder the facility always looks clean and neat. At one time, I had to go to my unit late at night (around 9 pm) and I expressed my concern about the safety at night, both Felix and Rene assured me that the place was safe and informed me that the police station was on the opposite of the road. The information did help me feel better. Since I just moved to the area, they also gave very useful information regarding where to visit, have good food, or donate some stuffs. Felix and Rene, thank you for being so helpful and keeping the facility clean.

I needed some extra storage for a short period of time, and really hesitated to think of a storage unit b/c of previous experiences and expected high cost. I bit the bullet and went to Extra Storage (which used to be All Aboard, and I didnt have a good experience w/ All Aboard) since its near my home. I found Felix Moya to be extremely helpful, quick with information and options, and over all very accommodating to my needs. I had the unit booked and items in the unit in less than an hour, at a price that was so much less than I expected. They had many offers and specials and it really fit my nees. I was very impressed with the appearance and cleanliness of the facility; it really felt like it was very new, but it has been there forever, and not been renovated (units). Felix takes his job seriously, and manages the facility very well. I feel confident that my possessions are safe, and that access to the facility will be consistent and painless.

I am very happy with my experience at Extra Space. The manager, Felix, was immediately welcoming and extremely helpful. He had my reservation ready for my appointment and promptly showed me to the storage unit so I could decide if it had enough space. He explained all of the procedures, double checked to make sure my gate codes were working, and answered any and all questions I had. Very professional and friendly. The facility is very nice and obviously well maintained. Definitely recommended.

Met with Renee and Ed and it was a very pleasurable experience. They were very friendly and will definitely refer people to their facility. They made me and my wife feel like we have known them for a very long time. It was great knowing there are great, kind, and caring people still out there. I have been a renter until last month for the last three years, I no longer needed storage but almost wished I did because of the excellent experience that I had there. The managers Renee and Felix Moya are so sweet and helpful, professional yet so personable. I will miss them both, and for anyone that has storage needs, this facility is clean and well maintained, online services easy and user friendly and again management cant be beat. Highly recommended!

Looking for a place to store your stuff? Then youve come to the right place! Renee and Felix are awesome people! They are friendly and sweet people! I came inquiring about storage since I work right around the corner from the storage place. Its in a convenient location, right off the Dumbarton and near the 101. Theres also a Starbucks across the street! Store your stuff and then get some coffee! I recommend people to come here to store their things!

I had a wonderful experience with Extra Space Storage in Menlo Park. Renee and the folks there are always so friendly and easy to work with. They have gone out of their way to make me happy on more than one occasion. The facilities are clean, safe, and well kept. There is no doubt I will go back to Extra Space Storage in Menlo Park the next time I need storage space. I cant say enough good things about them!

Spending time in a storage unit has never been my favorite thing to do. 1st I am looking at bunch of junk that I have accumulated for years and 2nd I have to look at boring cement walls for that couple of hour. The only thing that has kept me going back more often and also closed my other business storage and rented a second one here is the two wonderful managers Renee and Felix Moya.

Ed was always helpful (even when I forgot my passcode the second time!). The facility is clean, our move in was quick and efficient and we always found that the staff were friendly and ready to assist in any way they could. We moved out today and if we need storage again in the future we will be back. I fully recommend Ed and ExtraSpace on Willow Road in Menlo Park. CA
