These guys are bloody glorious. I went here to rent gear (never been to this place, been diving once in monterey and a few places around the globe, never done santa cruz), having called the day before to get some intel on where we were planning a dive. Got even more helpful info in the shop, did our rental, and headed out. We had gear issues with my friends gear (his own personal kit), came, back, and they helped us out. Their first priority was making sure we had the most glorious awesome dive. DEFINITELY coming back to rent in the future, and maybe to add some certs. PLEASE stick around, you are fantastic.

GREAT dive instruction for the whole family! My 10 & 13 year old girls and I all had fantastic PADI certification experiences with Tropical Adventures. I highly recommend John (the owner), and his pool helpers Terry & Megan. Great with people of all ages, experience levels, abilities, & confidence levels. John is a great teacher who makes the classroom instruction & tests as fun as they can be. If you are wondering if your kid can handle it, I assure you he/she will be in great hands with Tropical Adventures.
