I signed up as a new AAA member (tired of being earmarked cattle at the DMV, especially when I dont have an appointment set). The greeter at the Dublin AAA door Miss Sophie was very pleasant and walked directly to new accounts, great I thought. I was signed up by Mehreen Mahmood who complained repeatedly to me about her companies network support. I patiently waited for my acct creation and receipt for my debit. What bothered me much more and should bother all of us is Mehreen Mahmood use of our information. She asked repeatedly if she could run a quote on my vehicles. I said, No not today, Ill make an apt to do this, I have DMV items today". She said, "itll just take a minute" and proceeded to detain me, asking me how many miles I drive each auto annually. I said you dont have my info and again I will set an appointment. She then Crossed the Line, she said I have your information. I said excuse me? She told me my wife, daughter and sons name and read a list of my cars to me. After detaining me for 15 more minutes, I said, as I stated I am Not interested in a quote today. She said oh I thought you wanted a quote? I stood up and said, first impressions are everything, and you have just made one. AAA if you plan to and decide to keep Ms. Mahmood on staff. Use this negative experience she created as a Training tool for her. Not only was she pushy and deft, she told me she has my personal info which is a personal violation. At this point I will never use AAA for my auto coverage. I should say that Rosie who handled my DMV items was efficient and delightful. Mehreen Mahmood is a problem, please make a change.

Only AAA office in the Tri-Valley area open on Saturdays (wonderful for M-F working people). Been a member for years. Friendly, helpful staff. Their DMV Services for members is a major timesaver! Able to take care of my DMV issues (change of address for a car registration and payment) in 15 minutes, including waiting in line than I had to take time off work to make a DMV appointment or to show up at the DMV and wait during the week. Besides having a travel agency, their AAA state travel guide books for the asking, there was also a cheerful customer service rep ready to give free auto and home insurance quotes. Able to get a quick re-evaluation of my policies all within the 30 mins I was there initially to take care of my DMV registration. She even reminded us of their free car seat inspection lesson appointments - a licensed car seat inspector will teach you one-on-one how to properly install your infant/kid car seat in your car. Great A/C blasting while waiting during this very hot summer too.

Ive been a member for about 8 years and today had a confusingly bad experience. My father has a hard time talking English because of his accent and the lady helping us wasnt making it any easier. She wouldnt explain and had a snobby look on her face. After I have asked about a quote and she responds "Well your not getting a new bag so dont get confused" as if thats the reason why we are asking when I have just explain I have received a new car!!! My rates when up with no explanation and she couldnt explain why clearly. She made us feel like we were dumb when we have never experienced this before. After I mention Ill check other insurances for my newer car and she kept reminding me "When you cancel here make sure to bring prove." I felt so stupid for being a customer all of these years ! Horrible customer service ... now looking into new car insurances who are more clear, straight to the point, lower rates, and better customer service.. This company used to be a good one... now they arent the same.

I called emergency road service when I got a flat tire around 5 pm on a weekday on Santa Rita Rd. I was told it would be 45 minutes. After an hour I called back and was told another 45 minutes. This went on until 8:30, 3.5 hours, I was told numerous times, "another 45 minutes". So here I am left in my car on the side of the road in the dark with my 6 year old in the car with me. I called up one last time at 8:30 and I demanded to know why I was being pushed off for other people, as it truly seems impossible that the que of 2 people could take that long. At that point I told them to forget it, and I got out, unloaded the car, got out the included jack and changed my tire for the spare from the trunk. I should have done that at 5 pm. I was so disgusted I have seriously considered not continuing with service.

Try to find out if there is an actual office in Dublin CA or if I need to drive out to Tracy. First they want you to load the app. Then I finally get a number to call and its a robot. Routed various places then get s human. 40 minutes to get a human! I tell the human Im trying to reach a human at an office close to me so I can sit down, face to face, to get done ideas for a vacation. Of course this human is no where near me. Calls the Dublin, wait, then supposedly connected to a human in Dublin. I get introduced to the Dublin human and the other human says good bye and says the human will help me now. I tell her thank you, she hangs up....then I get in some sort of que . The fricken process starts over! I make the first option to speak to someone and get disconnected.

I had no problems with my insurance and AAA services, but when we added my husband to my insurance we had nothing but trouble. Billing issues were always fixed and we were always assured that everything was straightened out, we chose auto pay and chose to make one payment a year, every year we had a problem. We finally cancelled our auto insurance it got to be too much hassle and they were not big on customer service. If you go into this location to use the DMV services be prepared to wait there is usually a line. I think if they are going to have people wait like that they might as well get a number tab machine and let people sit while they wait. Now the AAA towing service is great!

Contacting the Dublin office via phone for insurance needs is difficult at best. Calls are typically unanswered locally, then eventually routed to a Call Center. The Call Center staff, to their credit, are very eager to please, but tell me that certain quotation tasks must be handled by the branch agents. One is then left waiting for a return call from a nameless branch agent, who manage to phone at unexpected times. If the return call can not be taken, go back to square one.

Had same experience as a previous reviewer. Have handled most of my needs over the last few years on the 1-800 number with few problems. But once I had an issue that could "only be handled by a local agent" the problems began.....contacted an agent in the Dublin office by phone and told my situation. Followed up with an email and all my information and.....crickets.
