5 stars for PetersendDean Roofing and Solar! Several years ago we were in the market for solar and really did our homework. We interviewed several companies and Eric Andresen from PetersenDean did his homework on us, also. Every company came in with basically the same bid as they take your PG&E records for the past year and do a work up. Eric was the only one who actually got up on our roof to measure, and did a physical walk around our property. He also was the only one to give us several options to lower our electric consumption. The other companies gave us bids to lower our consumption or to eliminate it altogether. We asked him about having enough panels to eliminate our bill and he was THE ONLY ONE to say "you will spend thousands more to save hundreds". I dont know about you, but I certainly appreciate that kind of honesty and integrity. PetersenDean was also the only company to point out that we could actually lease the equipment instead of purchasing it, saying that if anything went wrong, SunRun would be the one to bear the cost of repair or replacement. Gotta love that! We financed our installation through the use of the county grant program, SCEIP, and Eric walked us through uncharted waters and worked with both us and the county to make it all come together. Would I recommend Eric and PetersenDean? You bet I would! Not only was Eric a champion for us, the installation crew was on time, courteous, fast and also left a clean workspace at the end of the day. If youre in the market for solar, use PetersenDean. I trust them. You can, too. And yes, Im a real person, living in a real house and I can now afford to run my air conditioner because of my awesome solar system.

I wanted solar panels on my new garage. I first called a guy my friend knew. He was someone better suited to selling used cars. The next day after his visit he wanted me to sign a contract. I had told him I was going to call Petersen Dean for a price quote. He said his company would match prices. Again wanting me to sign a contract. This really put me off. I called Petersen Dean and Eric Andresen called me back and set up an appointment and showed up at the correct time. He wanted to know when it was convenient for ME! He took measurements, pictures, details of what I wanted. He checked angle of the sun and positioning of the roof that the panels would go on. What a professional he is. He said he would be in touch and have figures and specs. After a week or so Eric contacted me with the figures and explained the permit and payment process. He then had me sign a contract which I was happy to do. He already had a copy for me. Everything up front and explained. He gave me his cell as he is out of the office a lot. I am so glad I hired Petersen Dean for my solar panels. In a few years I will need a new roof on my home. I will not need a second opinion. Petersen Dean will do the new roof. I havent had service as of yet. Although doing my research & reading all of the Versatile Programs this wonderful company has plus the positive testimonies Ive read. It would be awfully hard to go with any other company. Plus there is a personal reason also. The Pedersen part, my husbands name is Nelsen The Norwegian spelling. Just had to include that!
